My three year old just told me that I was "aggravating" him. Oh my Lord, what am I going to do when he is 16?? Maybe I should just lay down and surrender now.

Yes, but hide some good medication before you lie down.... trust me, if I knew then what I know now -- I would have gone through my two kids (ages 20 & 17) teen years heavily medicated!! :rotfl: ;)

I know what you mean Miller. My 3 year old always tells me that i'm getting on his 'erves'! (nerves) :earboy2:

LOL!!! Mine tells I am making her frustrated!!! Yikes!

I have found a nice cold pina colada and a bubble bath does wonders.....

I remember my nephew telling my sister one time that something was getting on his last 'nervous', lol.

That's hilarious that you are 'aggrivating' your three yr. old, lol.

:rotfl2: :rotfl2: That is so cute! And yup, I agree...for the teenage years heavy medication for the parents and a little :drinking1 might help!

My 3 year old told DH at the store the other day that he was trying her patience.
Don't know where she could have picked that up.

Can't help you there. I've been aggravating my kids for years. That's what parents do isn't it? :confused3 I don't drink but maybe when they're all teenagers I'll have to start.

I just realized that in 8 short years I'll have two 13 yr. olds (twins), a 16 yr. old and an 18 yr. old. :earseek: Should be fun. :rotfl:

Funny how these kids like to use their parents' words, isn't it? lol At least your 3 year old didn't say a curse word, or something. Frankly, if the worst thing you say to your child(ren) is "you're aggravating me" or "you're trying my patience", it sounds like you're doing a great job. :goodvibes If they start saying "get the $#%^% outta my face" like I've seen on that reality TV nanny show, THEN you have to worry :rotfl2:

From the mouths of babes! :rotfl:

Yeah, I have teenagers and it's not pretty! And my fate has turned cruel because alcohol seems to be a trigger for my migraines so I can't even have some liquid medication without getting a headache.

I was told by my then 3 year old that my behavior was unacceptable. I had put him in "time out" for whatever 3 year old infraction had been incurred. "That's unacceptable behavior, Mommy".

16 wasn't his easiest year but it was easier than 13 ;)

You will miss him when he is all grown up. I know I miss my baby a lot. I wanted him to grow up but I still miss those sweet years.

A couple of months ago my DD then 3 told me when I took her out of the mall for disobedience -

"you ruined my life!!"

she wasn't happy with my response: GOod - then I MUST be doing my job! :rotfl:
