I am 3 weeks away from my cruise and I have not received any docs from DCL and therefore no info on special nights and what to wear! I would spend the last week before my cruise in a clothes-buying frenzy!

I now have sympathy for those who don't dress as well as they should. If it were not for the info on this board I would be clueless too!!! :(

Hey there,
We have not received our docs either. I agree with you one hundred percent, these boards are etiquette embarassment savers.
To tell the truth though, I am getting a little antsy. I really want my documents.
Oh well, patience is a virtue I suppose.
Cheers,

Did you book your air via Disney? We used to do that a long time ago, and it seems that the documents take a bit longer when you do. But in 30 cruises, they've always showed up eventually. :D

Ditto for booking through DCL...... Our docs have never been this late...... But this is our first trip we have booked using only points......
When DH called, DCL said not to worry unless we don't get them at the 10 day out mark!! Talk about cutting it close!

I'm extrememly worried that we won't get our documents in time. We are leaving for Florida over a week before the cruise. We used DVC points for our cruise too. It took 2 emails and 3 calls (some to MS and some to DCL) just to get the excursion information. We just got it yesterday and we are only 31 days out. The problem that we kept having with the excursion information is that DCL kept showing that we had an outstanding balance on the cruise. I kept telling them that we paid for the entire cruise with points. I'm really nervous about getting the documents before we leave. They told us the same thing, "Call if you don't receive them by 10 days out." I told them that if I do that I have no idea how thay are going to get them to us since we leave the very next day! The CM didn't seem to have an answer, but I think that my husband does. Could we ask them to send them to BCV?

GET on the phone now, my fellow cruiser!~

We had a horrible time getting our cruise documents this time. We had to call twice. They are supposed to send them out 21 days prior so you should call to check on them..We asked for the ups routing number also so we could check the online tracking system.

Booked our cruise for 5/10/03 in 9/02, paid with DVC points. Booked cruise for parents for 5/10/03 in 12/02, paid with cash. Received parents documents last week.

Called DCL - informed cruises paid with DVC points are the last documents to be processed. You would think they would be the first!

Will probably rent out points next time and pay cash for cruise!

Call them to see where they are.

We upgraded on our Feb 2000 sailing 4 weeks prior and they fedexed our new paperwork.

Still waiting for our 5/24 docs, and going through serious withdrawal from our Easter weekend Wonder cruise...I need my fix!!! Pretty soon the UPS man will have me arrested for stalking.

Barb,

You are on the Western next, correct? Do you think you will have your navigators posted before June 4th or 5th?

Thanks!

Yep, we'll be on the Western and we are staying the weekend in Orlando so we'll get home late Sun. night. But often when we get home, hubby is full of hyperactive energy so he might scan them ASAP!!
