When the kids were little, we used to buy AP's and go 2 or 3 times every year ... drove usually. We started getting a little less obsessed, but clearly it's happening again. :rolleyes1

Just got back from our very first Disney Cruise on the DREAM :goodvibes We also did Universal for a few days since kids had never been there, and finished the week with the ESPN Weekend 5K through MGM. It was a fabulous vacation!

Now I have free dining booked for August, (which i can no longer cancel because i just booked my non-refundable flights tonight - :yay: ) and DD really wants to do Half Marathon with me in Jan. School break works in our favour, which it probably won't again while she's in highschool, so we just HAVE to do it this coming Jan. :rotfl2:

My friends have been telling me I'm nuts for years ... I think I'm just starting to realize that they might be right.

Oh, and did I mention that I rebooked on board for the new Fantasy for Aug 2012 ... but we are NOT going ... I will push the date out into 2013 ... REALLY, I WILL :rolleyes1

I know that you guys totally "get it" ... I'm not crazy, right? :woohoo:

Nope, you're not crazy!! I went in January of this year, and I'm going back at the end of July and then going back agian 3 weeks later in mid-August! :woohoo:

We drove down Dec/Jan for the wedding came back on the 10th Jan. Left on Feb. 9th to drive back down. Then we are waiting for free dining for Dec. Go while you can.

Getting the annual passes makes it an easy justification to go three times in one calendar year. I went last March, then December, and got back a few weeks ago timing my trip so that we were at Disney on the last day before the annual pass expired! Not crazy. Logical. ;)

I agree with previous posters, why not go while you can? We were there two weeks in January, going back for a week in May and have booked for two weeks November/December - partial justification is using our annual passes :). Enjoy every minute and know there are many others who feel the same way ;).

We went 3x August - August 2008/2009 ... 2010 we had a break and now we are returning in a couple of months. 2012 will be Aulani so no WDW but maybe a DL weekend. Who knows what 2013 will bring :)

We went Feb 2010/May 2010/Aug 2010/Dec 2010 and Feb 2011. We are burnt out!

This last trip all I wanted to do was hang out at the resort (WL) I had no desire to push through the crowds and deal with the masses. Also the cruise life has totally spoiled me.

We're planning on Aulani/DL this fall, the Dream in Feb 2012 and then another big WDW trip in fall 2012.

We're all crazy for Disney, and no one understands but us DIS'ers! We went this past Christmas and got our AP's, so DD and I just went the beginning of March for her upcoming Sweet 16, and we're going for Halloween to use the AP's again!:thumbsup2

When we were in WDW on Thurs morning waiting for ME DH added up the days we have spent at WDW or on DCL in one calendar year and it was 28 days!!! The same as February! :scared1:

Scary and fantastic all at the same time! :goodvibes

LOL'd at the whole "same as Feb" comment! Of course it forced me to do some adding as well ... I went 4 times in 2005 and total days in WDW was 30. We didn't go at all in 2004 so see what happens when I try to skip a year? :rotfl2:

One thing I will NEVER do ... add up the costs of all of our trips 'cause I seriously don't want to know. ;) Besides ... WDW trips are PRICELESS!

Nope not crazy at all ;)

We spent a month last August in FL and half of it in Orlando doing WDW. We just got back from WDW a few months ago and 2 days after we got back I booked our October WDW trip.....gotta love it

We bought into DVC in May of 09, Went in Sept 09, then in Feb 10, May 10, Dec,10 again this May and booked the DREAM in Nov. and a week at the Boardwalk. GOOD GRIEF LOL But I just love it.

Well if you are loosing your marbles, so am I. I was there last fall with my girls , we are going back with Dh this May and I'm there again this August with the girls and my sisters. Seems like I love to spend my vacation time with little sleep and my daughters LOL

I find that I can't mention my next trip around friends and family .... I have to keep them secret .... its like being a kid. I know that I have friends who hate it when someone asks me about my next trip ... I can see them cringe.

okay this is great! here I am thinking im absolutely crazy having booked my disney dream cruise for may 2012 before booking my disney world trip this year in may only a few weeks ago!!! Im already saying that if I love the cruise I will book for the following year while on boards<---clearly I have issues!!! lol!

Oh, for SURE rebook on board ... save 10%, lower deposit, and On Board credits offered. AND it's fully refundable should you change your mind!

And, I can't mention stuff around some of my friends (and a few inlaws  ) because it feels like they judge me for how many times I go. All i can say is WHATEVER ... lost my Dad at age 58, my MIL at age 54, and my DSis at age 44 ... Life is too short ... make memories now 'cause you might not get the chance later on. And besides, they can't repossess a vacation! :lmao:

Big :grouphug: to all of us Disney-obsessed Canadians ... clearly we are one fabulous bunch of people! :wizard:
