Steve and Oliver share there opinion on three terrible attractions at Hollywood Studios!

The only one I agree with is the Beauty and the Beast stage show. MuppetVision and Star Tours are not terrible in my opinion. MuppetVision is the last thing Jim Henson worked on before his death. Muppets is also expanding its presence in DHS which means it is popular.

I am honestly very surprised by their choice of Star Tours. That attraction was recently updated with episode 7 scenes and has always been popular. Steve says it doesn't have staying power, if it doesn't have staying power why has it lasted decades? Anyways Star Tours is rumored to be re themed after Star Wars land opens because Star Tours will not be connected to the land.

I must agree sort of since I've never done Muppets or Star Tours. Muppets just because I never have the time when I'm there and Star Tours because neither I nor my son can do the whole virtual ride type things (don't do Mission Space either). I've seen Beauty and the Beast a few times but only if my son isn't along since he refuses to do any shows except Indiana Jones. I do disagree with their statement that there isn't much to do there now, not really a lot has been closed down, the construction has just sort of shrunk the size of the park.

Exactly, the two attractions that closed took up huge amounts of space.

I feel like "terrible" is such a strong word that it doesn't really apply to any of these attractions (though Beauty and the Beast really isn't great and pales in comparison to Festival of the Lion King or Nemo the Musical)

Now, if it was "attractions that could use an update or upgrade", ok, I can agree with that. But we still really enjoy Muppets and Star Tours (rode Star Tours 3 times last trip) ... and adding the randomizing of the scenes for Star Tours is a neat feature

But to me "terrible" implies something that I would actively avoid doing if it was suggested to me - like Stitch or even Ellen's Energy Adventure (largely due to how long it is)

It's important to remember the demographic of the critics. BBSS is not a terrible attraction if you have young children who adore Belle. There are also limited options if you're doing a vlog post on Terrible Attractions at HS. I agree with a prior poster that the world terrible shouldn't have been used but rather outdated.

I agree with most of these comments. Terrible is not the correct word for any of these. Perhaps 'three rides we don't like' or 'three rides not worth a long wait'.

I absolutely love all three of these attractions, so I agree with the PP that terrible is just a word used by 2 people with an opinion. Just wondering if both of you guys on the dis need to take a rest from the parks for a while. If I went all the time I might get jaded too. Just remember, your's is only your opinion. There are countless others who think otherwise and who love these attractions. just saying............................

Because I get horrible motion sickness I do not enjoy Star Tours, but I could see how people who are not affected by the motion would enjoy it.
The Muppet pre-show is pretty terrible and boring, but I do enjoy the actual movie.
B&TB I actually still enjoy, yes it may be dated, but I still think it is entertaining.

The Little Mermaid one. TERRIBLE. Totes skippable.

Beauty and the Beast. Loses points for lack of a/c.

Playhouse Disney. Cause I'm not 5 LOL.

I agree with Star Tours. I hate Star Wars so the story/theme does nothing for me. And the actual ride just knocks you around for 10 minutes. I don't find it fun in the least. C3PO being in the room is cool but other than that I have no reason to go on it.

With the exception of exploring the queue last month, I haven't done the Muppets in probably 10 years. But for some reason I'm still glad it's around. It gives the park a little character.

I've never seen Beauty and the Beast. I've seen the Broadway show and it's fantastic. Be Our Guest, Enchanted Tales, and Gaston's Tavern at New Fantasyland are beautiful and entertaining enough; BATB doesn't need to be in two parks.

I never enjoyed Star Tours. Not only because the "story content" does/did not interest me in the slightest, but I don't like paying for an attraction that basically throws me around and bruises the h-e-double-hockey-sticks outta me for no good reason. I felt the same way about Body Wars, even though the "story content" there enthralled me.

I love the B&TB Stage Show. When I finally made the time to see it (as more and more things closed down over the years, things opened I couldn't do due to physical limitations), I thoroughly enjoyed it. Granted the last time I saw it was at least 4 years ago, but I feel that in a theme parks setting a LONG way from B'Way (and all the limitations that implies), it compared fairly favorably (again, taking limitations into account) to a show I had seen and LOVED many times on B'Way.

Muppets was a "must do" for me more for tradition than anything else, and again, especially as more/more things closed, or were "undoable" for me. Enjoyable and amusing, but not show stopper. Nostalgia at its best for me personally is how I look at it.

I've sworn off Star Tours because of the motion. Fun, but not worth it to me. OTOH, I love MuppetVision.

I agree! I actually think they do a decent job for a theme park production, and it's fun just to hear the songs. I've never seen a bad performer in any of the many times I've been. I also think Star Tours is awesome. The queue, both inside and out is SO cool and I absolutely love the updates from The Force Awakens.
I'm on the fence about Muppet Vision 3D--I totally agree with Steve and Oliver that the preshow is ridiculously long. I do love the Muppets though, and am glad to see them rep'd in the parks. Could definitely be time for a new movie.
My nominee for worst DHS attraction is definitely Voyage of the Little Mermaid. Overall, I think the quality is just terrible.
