3 sisters + 2 worlds=5 days of Orlando fun! An Aug. '10 TR...final thoughts p. 45

I've never done the Character meet but I have a Visa card and it looks so fun! That's great they let you spend so much time with the characters.

LOL oh Sarah you almost had me believing you like the Beverly! :rotfl:

That meet and greet looked like a lot of fun, I love when characters really get into it! Love the monorail speil as well!

Great updates!

We had the same conversation about Fantasyland. With all the construction some of the magic was missing. For people who frequent WDW I think we "get" that they're making improvements that we'll love but I felt bad for the people who might be on their one and only trip there.

Glad you enjoyed Tiana and Naveen. We thought they were really fun too. They are among my favorite meet and greets. Your pics with them are so cute!

nice pics!! I have never done the character meet as well! Is it usually busy?? Where's it at? We've been to one near Innoventions and I thought that, that was the one for the Visa people but we stood in line for a while (this was a few years ago!) I'll have to check out the specific Disney Visa one when we're there in Oct!!

The Visa one is actually in Innoventions (I forget if it's east or west, but I remember seeing the fire exhibit in there)...maybe you did the Character Spot which is in that building near Innoventions? In April we waited maybe 15-20 minutes but this time it was maybe 5 minutes. You should do it!

Awesome that you got 3 characters at the Visa Meet 'n Greet. We only had 2 last time we went as well. You are so right about Ellen's Energy Adventure being a great place to kill some time:rotfl: Plus it's air conditioned and sometimes that is enough! Hope you get to see the MSEP.

Yeah, I was really surprised to see 3 characters but it was a neat experience. Stay tuned to see if MSEP went on that night...

If you have a Visa card it's definitely worth it! We love the free picture. :thumbsup2

haha, no, I didn't like the Beverly. But it wasn't nearly as bad as I had been thinking. Still don't think I'll be trying it again.

Thanks Dawn. :)

Yeah, I would be so disappointed if it was my only trip and it was all boarded up. Oh well.

I think they are probably some of my favorites too now! I'm really glad I got to meet them. I've missed out on too many characters because they are only there for a limited time.

Great update! You really got a lot of time and pics with the characters! :goodvibes Looking forward to MSEP (hopefully)!

Very cute pic from Visa character meet!

I haven't done Ellen's Energy Adventure in years, but your right - it's the perfect place to escape the heat for awhile :thumbsup2

Yeah, you'll have to wait to see if our bad luck continued that day...popcorn::

Thanks!

Last August was the first time we had done it in several trips. I really enjoy Ellen as the host and Bill Nye is good too. haha

Hi everyone! Woo hoo, tomorrow is already Wednesday! I love having short weeks at school. :thumbsup2 I am going to try to have another update tomorrow...we'll see. But in the mean time I thought I'd let you know that I started a new PTR for my March trip! I hope to see some of you over there, so far nobody's replied. :rolleyes1

The pic you have of the band is cute because the drummer looks really happy!

Since we have those non-park days in February, I want to go explore the resorts and then hop on the monorail for few loops! I have never ever ever been on the Epcot monorail, and I'm so curious to see what what that part of the park looks like from above!

Woohoo for finally trying Beverly! Haha, I see it as a rite of passage. I agree with you though; it's not as bad as I thought it would be. I mean, it's not something I'd choose to ever drink again, but I've had things that tasted much worse!

Wow. I'm so far behind.

I hate those conversations about cheese. I usually tell people I'm from Milwaukee, then I get questions about Fonzie. Oy!

Great pictures from the meet and greet! How cool there were 3 characters.

Hmmm.... I think a BLT stay should be in your future. The monorail loop is so fun!

haha, I didn't even notice that!

That will be so much fun to explore/visit the resorts. The only bad thing is then I want to stay at them all. The thing that's so neat about the Epcot loop is the mini tour. I just love it. I can't believe you've never been on it!

I think if I had taken a bigger sip then it might've been worse. haha

LOL, Fonzie?! Well, atleast they know something about the state.

I think a BLT stay will definitely be in our future. My one sister wants to stay there really bad, so Dad said we should wait until we all go. But it does seem really cool there.

How cool that you got to see Mickey, Minnie and Goofy all together at ths Visa Meet and Greet.

Here's hoping that the weather holds out for the Electrical Parade.

Great updates Sarah! My husband says the same thing when people ask where he grew up, he'll say "Wisconsin" and all they think is that he's a cheesehead!! He usually gives a polite eye roll! Awesome pics with Tiana and Naveen, she is so so pretty!! We still need to try Monsters Inc! It sounds like fun and something the kiddos would enjoy too! Your Disney Visa pic turned out great too! I LOVE getting my free pic!!! I still need to sucker Cory into Club Cool and get him to taste the Beverly!! I have a hard time drinking something that most people say is horrible!! I hope you made it back for the MSEP!! AND I hope school it going well for you and that you are enjoying a set schedule!!! :goodvibes

Caught up again! (I seem to be starting all my postings like that lately... )

Going all the way back to Tiana and Naveen.... I've heard such great things about them, I can't wait to see them and will definately wait. I too think of the Packers (and cheese heads... sorry!) but also for some reason, the Young and the Restless.

Sounds like a lovely afternoon in Epcot! I love the meet and greet pics! Adorable!

I can't believe you voluntarily frank the Beverly! :lmao: You go girl!!!

Going over to your new PTR now...

Hi Sarah!:goodvibes

Love all your Move it Shake it Celebrate it parade pics!! It looks like you were standing in the same exact spot we were last April. I have a lot of similar pictures with the castle in the background.;)

Yay for meeting Tiana and Naveen!! I really wanted to meet them on our last trip but I couldn't convince the boys.:sad2:

I'm glad that you got to use your fastpasses for SM! Sorry about the headache though....

The character meet looked fun! Great picture!:thumbsup2

Yes, there is more to Wisconsin than just cheese.

There are fireworks and water parks too! ;)

KIDDING!

There is a ton in Wisconsin!! But, I do have to admit the first thing I thought of was cheese. :rolleyes1

I'm enjoying all your updates! Gonna pop over to the PTR too! :hyper:

It was really neat to have all 3 of them in one spot and one picture. :thumbsup2

LOL, atleast I am not the only one annoyed with all the cheese comments. Tiana was beautiful. We had such a good time meeting the two of them. I bet your kids would LOVE the Monsters show!

School is going well, it is so nice to have a regular assignment and not have to worry about the phone ringing. :thumbsup2

Don't worry about it, I am the same way. :)

YES, the wait for Tiana and Naveen was so worth it. But it was nice too getting there a little bit early so it wasn't too long. LOL, the Young and the Restless?! Some of the Brewers players were on that show a couple years ago, maybe that's why. :rotfl:

Sounds like a lovely afternoon in Epcot! I love the meet and greet pics! Adorable!

I can't believe you voluntarily frank the Beverly! :lmao: You go girl!!!

Going over to your new PTR now...

Yeah, I couldn't believe I did either but I felt I couldn't dismiss it as being disgusting until I actually tried it for myself.

Hey Angie!

Bummer you couldn't meet Tiana and Naveen. Maybe next time!

We were glad that SM opened up again and were able to ride. But yeah, that headache didn't make for the most enjoyable ride. Oh well.

Yes, there is more to Wisconsin than just cheese.

LOL, fireworks and water parks. Yeah, there are a lot of those. There are a lot of fireworks when they have all the different festivals during the summer.

See you over at the PTR!

Loving your TR! We leave in 25 days and I can't wait! We didn't do the Disney Visa meet and greet when we were there three years ago . . . may have to do that. Can't wait to hear more about your trip! :thumbsup2
