3 Questions. Please Help....

Hi All! We just decided last minute to take our girls to DL this week before they start school. I have 3 questions:

1) DH's friend who works there said she could get 3 of us in. I think she just puts the 3 of us on a list and we walk right in with her. Does anyone know if we will have actual paper tickets so we can obtain FPs?

2) We have APs that are about to expire, but we're blocked out that day. Since DH's friend could only get 3 in, we still need to purchase a ticket. I heard there was a ticket we could purchase on a block out day? Is this true and does anyone know how that works and the price?

3) What is the likelihood of being able to see World of Color WITHOUT reserved dining seats? Both restaurants are booked, and the picnic meal isn't showing up on the calendar this week which means it's all sold out. They told me we could go the day of and purchase tickets, but I'm afraid they might be gone by the time we get there. Just wondering if we'd be able to see the show without waiting hours beforehand.

I'm not sure about 1, sounds likely that you will get a paper ticket.

2. There is but I don't know the details.

3. You have to get a FP for WoC to see it from the veiwing area. They are distributed at the GRR fastpass machines from park opening to early afternoon. They go in seequence first show, second show and then third show. They are free.

1. The picnic meals that are sold on the day of are for the 10:15pm WOC. (I think they start selling them at 11:30am.) The picnic meals come with either Blue or Yellow FPs.

2. Just to add to skiingfast's comment, sometimes in the late afternoon the GRR/WOC FP machines continue to distribute Red FPs for the 11:15pm WOC. A couple of weeks ago I saw Red FPs being distributed at 4:55pm, although I would try to get them earlier.

Question 1: I believe every type of ticket has some sort of paper ticket issued for getting Fastpasses and for showing that you have the right to be in the Park. For example, those entering the Park for free from the GAD promotion get a paper ticket upon entering. I would ask your friend.

Question 2: $45, you can buy it at the ticket booth, you will need to show the blocked out AP

Question 3: You have 2 choices for getting a FP on the day of: picnic box purchased on the day of for the 10:15pm show OR getting a show ticket (i.e. WoC Fastpass) from the machines as described in above posts.

It actually worked out that DH's friend is able to get all of us in, so we don't need to buy a block out day pass afterall. Plus we found out that we will get actual tickets for FP. Yay!

We'll try our luck at getting same day picnic boxes, and if not we'll try to get regular FPs.
