3 pirates and a princess Trip report day 4

[buzz for boys]

Again we were up ridiciously early !! I headed into walmart for a few bits and bobs and by the time I got back (8am) the kids were ready and desperate to get going to I slands Of Adventure.

As soon as we arrived the kids darted over to red fish blue fish - this was their fav ride 4 yrs ago and there were very disappointed to find that the water had been switched off because it wa still quite chilly ! must admit I was just glad that jeans and a jacket would suffice today !!
We did the whole of the seus area and the boys were moaning they wanted to get wet so wayne had a fab idea take them on a water ride!! Great I thought we wont get that wet so we gave them the choice after studying the map we were off to olive and popeyes barges ??
Oh my god big mistake we didnt just get a little bit wet we got soaked !!
Not a problem if u r in shorts and tshirt but a bit more uncomfortable in jeans !!

I decided no way could I walk round like that all day so we went in the dryer - or as wayne called it a money making enterprise for the european idiots!! Get them wet them charge them $5 to get them warm !!

The dryer did nothing so we went went on the hunt for a place to sit in the sun to dry off - keira decided if we were going to sit still then she deserved food !!

Just for being so cute we bought popcorn !!

We did eventually dry out and we headed over to the Spiderman ride - this time wayne was going first !! I scanned around the area and decided to sit on a wall next to the spiderman statue - now all you people who have been here loads of times are thinking what spiderman statue?? If only I had thought that!!
I carried keira over and plonked my bum down chatting to her about how warm it wa sgetting and that she would need suncream on now when Spiderman statue moved and started waving - I screamed so loud and im sure my heart stopped beated
When i was recovered from the shock we did go in and meet him . . .

The spiderman ride is amazing and im sure it has improved from when we last went on it!
After riding on the hulk we decided it was time to call it a day and we headed back to the villa Cameron was crying that his eye was hurting and keira had fell asleep so it was time to see what an evening in the games room would be like!! By 7.30pm we were all in bed sleeping like logs

I love Islands though I could have told you about the water rides, you do get soaked which isn't a problem in the summer but can be too cold at other times of the year. We tried it in December on a particularly lovely sunny hot day but the water was freezing, never again during the winter.

You made me laugh with the Spiderman statue that would have been so funny to see.

Sad that your son's eye was hurting, I hope it gets sorted.

Great day....shame the dryer didn't do it's job. I wondered whether it was worth bothering with as we saw people getting out in december and they still looked soaked to the skin.

Great update.We love Seuss Landing,i could spend hours in there by myself .
You made me laugh about Spiderman,especially after what i just wrote on one of your previous days .
I hope Cameron's eye was'nt to bad and it did'nt play him up too much on your holiday.x.

I always end up buying new clothes at the stalls next to barge ride and changing in the toilets!!!
