3 pairs of Minnie ears and Stalking Thumper~My first TR 5/6-5/11 *UPDATE 6/13, pg 14*

I have to admit that I don't remember the last time I went to HOP. I may have to try to make it there this year!

We had breakfast at Cape May and felt the same way. Soo much food, but it was all fantastic.

I can't believe you haven't been on TSM! You HAVE to ride it on your next trip! And, 20 minutes! I would've been going through the line, riding it, then running back to the line! It's one of our favs. DH and I are so competitive! He beats me on this, but I always get him on Buzz!

Thank you! There is still a little more to go, and I plan on doing a "what i bought in Disney World" update too! Then I'll be starting a PTR for my November trip, so I can't really be too sad! :rotfl2: :cool1:

Thanks now I can look forward to the sequel.popcorn:: The first thing on your list needs to Toy Story at DHS.

:sad2: that it is your last day.

We've always enjoyed the GMR, but I think it needs to be updated a little.

Sorry DH did not want to ride TSM. We finally got on it for the first time this past September. The wait said 40 minutes and we got in and done in about 25 minutes. It was well worth it. Next time -- go by yourself and leave DH going over to Narnia by himself. ;)

WHAT?! A 20 minute wait for TSM and he didn't want to go on??? I can't believe it!

We rode the GMR once and had a girl mobster and I didn't really like it as much either. It was still fun, but not the same, like you said!

I love DHS too. It's so pretty there! And I really love that view of ToT! Can't wait to read about your ride! :thumbsup2

What? 20 mins for TSM? That's unbelievable! And you passed it up? I can' believe it! Its worth it just to see the queue which is actually pretty cool. Well - you know what that means???? You need a do-over for TSM :lmao: Kidding - but any excuse for a do-over is Ok with me!

HOP is nice if you need to relax and get away from the heat for a while! It's not something I need to do every trip, but if we have time, I like to do it. :)

I know, I can't believe I haven't been on TSM either, trust me! :lmao: I have a feeling I'm not going to be any good at it though, DH will definitely beat me. When we did Buzz in November, he beat me pretty badly, I was awful! :rotfl: That's funny that you and your DH are so competitive with these rides, we probably would be too, but I was seriously so bad at Buzz, it wasn't even worth it to try to beat him! :)

Definitely, it's the first thing I'll be doing at DHS in November! :cool1:

I agree, they should update the GMR somehow, but I don't know how...different movies or something?

I don't know what DH's problem is with TSM, but he never wants to ride it! :confused3 If he doesn't want to next time, I will just go by myself, he can find something to do to keep him entertained for a while! :cool1:

I know, 20 minutes for TSM is like nothing! And since I've found that most of the time, the waits are hardly ever accurate, it was probably more like 10 mintues! I should have insisted, but he just wanted nothing to do with it so I just didn't push it! :lmao:

I have no problem with a girl mobster in GMR, I mean, I get she was kind of supposed to be like Bonnie from Bonnie and Clyde, but her voice and the way she was talking...poor girl just needed some acting lessons or something! :confused3

I took so many pics of ToT on this last night, I'm saving them for my next update! I love DHS at night! :lovestruc

Lol, I didn't want to pass it up, trust me, I knew how rare it was to see a 20 minute wait for TSM, but my DH just refused! I don't get it, it's not like he was in a bad mood or anything, it's not like we spent our whole day waiting in long lines, and everything else I wanted to do that he didn't want to do, he did anyway and kept the whining to a minimum :rotfl: but he just wouldn't budge with TSM!

I have a plan though, for November! He has never seen the Toy Story movies-somehow, with me being so Disney obsessed, I've never made him watch them! And he keeps seeing previews for TS3, and he says it looks good and he wants to see it, so I'm going to have him watch TS1 and 2 and then we're going to go see 3 when it comes out! After seeing the movies, there's no way he will want to miss the ride! :yay:

And yeah, any excuse to go back to Disney is fine with me too! :cool1:

Shhh, don't post this over on my PTR since DH has been reading now, but there are some secret targets on Buzz that are worth thousands of points. If you hit them, there's no way that anyone can beat you. I didn't know about it on our honeymoon and just got lucky to hit one, but I looked them up afterwards since I couldn't figure out how I did so well because I stink at video games!

Just google Space Ranger Spin tips/secrets and a ton of sites come up!

A 20 minute wait for TSM?!?!?! I should be so lucky.

I'll bet once you get your DH on it, he'll love it so much, it'll become one of his favorite rides! :thumbsup2

Hi! I followed you over from my PTR and just finished reading all of your updates...I am upset that it's almost over!!! I can't wait to try out La Cava de Tequila, so I was excited to hear you talk about that. The chocolate "moose" also looks really good. We are going to Le Cellier so I might need to have that! :thumbsup2: Congrats on your wedding!

Lol, don't worry, your secret is safe from your DH! :lmao: I will definitely have to try to find the secret targets for next time and let DH think I'm better than him! Of course, there is the chance that I will find these tips and still be awful at it! :)

Lol, I know, 20 minutes...every time someone else says something about it I regret not going on even more! :sad2:

That's what I'm hoping once I get my DH on TSM, that he will like it a lot and it will become a must do for us! He's obsessed with video games, and I'm assuming this is like being inside of a giant video game, so how can he not like it? :)

Hi, :welcome:

La Cava Del Tequila is great, if you like margaritas, you will love it! And the chocolate moose at Le Cellier is probably my favorite dessert ever...I got some chocolate mousse from Whole Foods a couple of months ago, thinking it might be similar to Le Cellier's...nope, nothing ilke it. I wish there was a way you could buy a box of it and make it at home! :yay: Thanks, about my wedding...HeatherBelle asked for some wedding pix so whenever I start my PTR for my November trip I'll try to find a few decent ones to put up! :rolleyes1

I don't like margaritas...I LOOOOVE them. I am soooo looking forward to trying the margarita sampler. I might have tried a shot of tequila, but I don't know now after hearing your husband's drinking story :rolleyes1: I would love to see your wedding pics. I am getting married myself next August, so wedding stuff is really exciting to me right now! :bride:

Lol, I honestly don't know why he got like that, I mean, it's not like he drank that much and it was over a few hours, it's not like we were drinking one after the other! Just pace yourself and you should be fine! :rotfl:

Still Day 5, the last day of our Disneymoon! :sad1::sad1::sad1:

I'm getting over being sad about this TR being over! I'm looking forward to my next trip now, so I can't wait to start my PTR for it!

Well, I think I last left off when we were walking towards ToT! We walked down the street, and while we were walking, I saw all the photopass photographers and I really wanted us to get our pic taken with one in front of my favorite ride! But then I though it would be so much cooler to do when it was a little darker, so we were going to come back!

Getting closer!

IMG_1141.jpg

So what did we do?

IMG_1142.jpg

RnRC only had a 20 minute wait, and we couldn't pass that up! And we decided to get FP's for it because we figured the wait time would be longer once magic hours really got going!

I LOVE RnRC! The beginning is the best part, when you take off really fast! We of course had to wait to be in the front seat because ever since Brandon found out you could do that in 08, he's loved waiting the extra few minutes to sit in the front!

After RnRC, we ran over to ToT to check the wait time...I believe it was 20 minutes also! So we decided to ride it, why not? :cool1:

There's nothing I can say about ToT that i haven't said before, I absolutely love everything about it! It's my favorite ride at WDW, no question! I could ride this ride over and over and over...

After ToT, we checked our FP return time, and realized it was time to go back on RnRC so we went back over there. There was some guy in front of us arguing with the CM's about why couldn't he go on, he's there with his kids, blah blah blah...the CM's were very nicely trying to explain to this man that you have to be a resort guest to partake in extra magic hours and since he didn't have his resort key, he couldn't ride. He just kept arguing and finally one of CM's had enough, she was like "just go in". Ugh. It made me so mad. You whine and complain enough, you get what you want. :sad2:

Again, RnRC was fun, but for some reason it was starting to give me a headache that second time, so I said that was it for that ride for the night. And besides, there were more important things to do. Like when I mentioned riding ToT over and over...:woohoo:

It was dark by this time so I got some great pictures of ToT!

IMG_1144.jpg

This next picture is my FAVORITE picture that I have ever taken at WDW...I think it captures ToT soooo perfectly, I honestly almost cried when I saw it after I took it

IMG_1146.jpg

:lovestruc

Have I mentioned I love the line waiting area for ToT? Because I do, especially at night...it's so spooky, with the mist and those creepy lights and no one actually waiting...love it!

Another line pic

IMG_1149.jpg

I have a picture of this statue earlier in my TR from the day, now here's the night shot

IMG_1150.jpg

We went on ToT 3 times in a row...there was no one in line! I mean, once you got inside there were a few people in the waiting room where you watch the video, but it was basically empty. This is what we did during our September 08 trip, during emh at DHS, we ran back and forth between ToT and RnRC! Soooo much fun!

Our last ride was the last ride of the night, ToT was closed after that. :sad1: Brandon loves this sign so he took a few pictures before he got the perfect one

IMG_1153.jpg

*Sigh* Our Disneymoon was over. :sad1: Well pretty much. I was taking my time walking down the street because I did not want to leave.

IMG_1155.jpg

I was looking for photopass photographers but they were gone. I waited too long so I never got our picture in front of ToT! I wanted to try for a picture in front of the hat, but there were a lot of people doing the same thing. So I took a few pictures of the hat of my own and we decided to leave. :sad1:

IMG_1158.jpg

Then Brandon realizes, as we are walking out...he never got his mom anything! His mom wanted a sweatshirt and he was looking for a nice one for the past 5 days and couldn't find one. So, of course, me looking for ANY way to extend this Disneymoon, I suggest DTD, which was open til 11! He really didn't want to, but he wanted to get his mom something, so he agreed and we raced over there!

I was starving by then so I made us go to Earl of Sandwich and get one last sandwich for our trip! We got them to go so we could eat them in our room, and we ran over to World of Disney. He quickly picked out a sweatshirt for his mom, but I was of course taking my time. I wanted to buy a few things but I didn't really know what! I bought this adorable picture in a frame and I could swear something else, but I can't remember what!

Once we were finished in DTD, we drove back to the Beach Club. I had to make sure everything was set and we were ready to leave in the morning. Brandon of course ate and went to sleep but I stayed up for a while, not wanting to go home in the morning. :sad1::sad1::sad1:

Up next...leaving the Beach Club and coming home. And pictures of stuff I bought!

Still Day 5, the last day of our Disneymoon! :sad1::sad1::sad1:

I'm getting over being sad about this TR being over! I'm looking forward to my next trip now, so I can't wait to start my PTR for it!

Boooooo to the trip report almost being over :sad1: You'll have to post a link to your PTR when you start it so we can follow you over there. As far as TOT and RRC go, I love them too! They are two I can ride over and over, unlike some of the other roller coasters and thrill rides at Disney, which are great once or twice and then start to jostle you too much.

ToT looks awesome at night! Koby loves that ride & loved the pic! He wants to ride it at night & hopefully we can get a pic in front of it at night for you! Sucks that you waited too long to get yours :(

Well, personally, I think you went out with a bang on your last night!!!!!! Awesome pics of night time ToT. How great that you got to ride it three times without any waits. I love your fav picture and I like the one with the green lighting on the ToT sign. Very cool.

Boo to the man who continued to argue his way onto the RnR. That's so annoying and selfish.

Looking forward to your last morning.

Hey jen! Sorry I’ve been MIA but I’m back to catch up!!

Great pic of ToT during sunset! So beautiful! So sorry that the CM let the man in when he didn’t have his key card! That kinda defeats the whole purpose right?

Wow! Great pics of ToT after dark! It is really creepy! LOL!

Awww I hate that feeling that your trip is over! I totally get the part about trying to soak in everything! LOL!

It’s ok, you have next trip to look forward to now!!

Wow! Those ToT pictures are AMAZING! :thumbsup2 I love that ride too, girl! And it's so cool that you didn't have to wait to ride it!

I know what you mean about trying to drag out the last moments of your trip by going to DTD. I always do that on my last night at WDW. Even if it's just hanging out somewhere at the resort, I just can't stand to go to bed because then I know it's really over!

I love riding ToT during the night!

I hate that I just discovered your TR, and now, it's almost time for it to end!

What AWESOME shots you got of TOT--I love them (it is my favorite ride in all of Disney).

I hate that leaving part too. I just finished up the Disney portion of our PTR. Although this year it won't be quite as sad because we are going to Marco Island after for a week and will be spending part of the time with a good friend here from the DIS (and the FOOD PORN QUEEN, MickeyNicki).
