I was reading a website somewhere that said Tritons was a formal dress restaraunt. Even for the 3 night cruise?? Just curious I thought nice pants and polo type shirt for DH would work for all of the restaurants on the three night.

For Tritons and I quote "A jacket is recommended for men and a dress or pant suit is suggested for women."

At Tritons DH wore a jacket and I wore a black and white pantsuit. We saw some people dressed like us and some dressed a little more casual. (example: Men: White long sleeved button down shirt with a tie...some without a tie.) For dinner my 7 and 4 1/2 year olds wore dark blue pants and Oxford (long and short-sleeve) shirts from Old Navy.

I think you should wear what you feel comfortable in. DH and I live in jeans so dressing up was a treat. The kids didn't like dressing up for dinner but then again they thought chicken strips was the best thing on the menu.

In the other two restaurants, they request no shorts or jeans.

Have a great cruise and be comfortable!

On our Magic cruises DH and I did dress up for formal nights (DH in a suit and me either in a long dress or dressy pants outfit) but on our upcoming Wonder cruise we are not taking formal clothes. I have read on these boards of many people not dressing up on the Wonder, as it is more "casual" and that sounds good to us. My parents are going with us (it's their first cruise) and they don't want to dress up. The men will wear khaki slacks and polo shirts and the women will wear nice sundresses or slacks outfits. We are requesting, and hoping to get, a table for 4 so we wouldn't "offend" our tablemates should they choose to "dress to the nines" at Tritons. :)

Personally I couldn't care less what others are wearing. It's vacation for goodness sakes. Even at nice restaurants here where we live we see people come in with jeans on, big deal!! Doesn't offend me in the slightest. Life is too short to worry about, or be upset about, what other people wear to a restaurant. :sunny:

We saw people in shorts and tshirts at Tritons and no one said anything to them...
