There are several threads praising the concierge rooms and service. We're trying to decide on a spring cruise.

The price on a cabin for the 3 night on the Dream in concierge (cat V) is about the same as a similar cabin on the 4 night (Cat 5) - both in the $1900s.

What would you do???

I would recommend what I do; 7 night with an inside room. You only spend a very small amount of time in your room and the beds are the same and the water in the shower is the same.

If those are the only choices, I'd go with the 4 night. But, I'm firmly in the longer is better camp. :goodvibes

I wish the boards had a like button! This is the best explanation I've seen!

We love concierge & find worth the price. That being said, I wouldn't do a 3 day it's just way to short. We've done 4 & 7 day concierge & 4 day went by pretty quick. However we combined it with 3 days at the parks before & 4 days after the cruise. :boat: :thumbsup2

I've never done concierge (and I can't imagine I ever will) but I've never heard anything about it that makes me think I would prefer a shorter cruise in concierge than a longer cruise in a regular room. I would pick the longer cruise for sure.

My DH would never go for this. I definitely would to save money but he loves the balcony. I think with insides you are really not in your room because there is nothing to look at. He does sit out on the balcony a lot- ours definitely gets used.

That being said, we'd pick the 4 day. However, if you wanted to try the 'suite life' I say go for it! It might be a great chance to see what everyone raves about. Good luck! :goodvibes

I booked a 3 night for next August Cat V Concierge.....4 of us for $2700 ... It was only $300 more than Family verandah.

I have never sailed concierge and I am really looking forward to it.

My boys can not wait.....go for it....you can always do a longer cruise in the future. Our first cruise was a 7 night....dreaming of doing that again but for now 3 nights fit the budget...:thumbsup2
