Anyone want to weigh in on their opinion? We are currently booked for 5 nights in WDW in November, flights are booked, so can't switch dates.

Now we are debating between doing our originally planned 5 nights at WDW or doing 1 night WDW, 3 night DCL, then 1 more night WDW?

What do you think? We've done two 4 night DCL and we loved them!! Not sure we could do a full week, it would seem too long, but I'm worried the 3 night will make both parts of the trip seem short? I'd love to hear what others think!

Thanks!

You can't go wrong with either, but you are losing a lot of time out of a 5 day trip due to travelling, and checking in and out. You'll be uprooted for 1/4 of your total trip time. Land then sea or vice versa is fine, but land-sea-land is too much for my tastes. Just my personal opinion though.

Generally, I'm all for "cruise at all costs". But, in the scenarios you present, I'd do 5 nights at WDW. One night before and one night after isn't enough (for me). And a 3 night cruise is just TOO short (basically you're just on the ship for 2 days).

Agreed. Doing a 3-day cruise with WDW before and after is too much packing/unpacking, and all that switching accommodations back and forth would waste too much vacation time.

It depends on how much you like cruising and how often you get to go to WDW. We do a short cruise and WDW before and after. We love it that way, but we only cruise every few years and do a full week at WDW most of the time.

It's all about which you're most yearning for, the cruise or WDW. If it's the former, do the cruise/parks combo. If it's the latter, do the parks only. You can't lose either way imo. Have fun!

The 1 night, 3 nights, 1 night would be way too much moving around for me. I love DCL, but WDW wins this one for me.
