3 Night - Best Night for Palo?

Just made reservations for the 9/8 Wonder (3 nights - too short). This is for our 23rd anniversary, and we are goiing without DD 13 and DD 8 (they are staying at Grandma's). Since this is short notice, online reservations for Palo are closed, and we will need to book onboard.
What is your #1 choice of nights for Palo on the 3 night?

I like to dine on the last night as you sail toward home after leaving CC. I like to see the sun set over the ocean. Very nice view. We have our ressies for 7:00 next week.

I enjoy Nassau night; last night would be my second choice.

My res is for 6:00 pm at Palo on Sat. Only thing left for four people when I had to change from two people on Friday at 7:30 pm. I quess I will definately run into you there.

We also booked the last night after Castaway Cay. I made 8:30 ressies so we will have plenty of time to get ready.

No, don't wait 'till the end. Once you've experienced the outstanding service and great cuisine in Palo, you may wish that you'd dined there every night!

On our last one-week cruise on the Magic, we made only a single token appearance in Main Dining.

Skibum, you mentioned going without children. Do you want to eat in any of the rotational dining rooms? If not, here's my advice. Book an actual reservation on your final night. For some reason, this seems to be the most popular and crowded night. Then you can ask to be waitlisted for the 1st and 2nd night. I haven't done this yet, but I believe that you can also sit at the bar in Palo and eat dinner there (without a reservation). Might be worth checking into. We had the pleasure of dining there all 4 nights back in January. I loved it.

We took advice from the DISboards and went the night we had Parrot Cay, which was our last night! We went during our regular dining time and enjoyed the rest of the evening. Good luck and Happy Anniversary - don't forget to let them know what you are celebrating!

The best night for going to Palo's is any night you can get a reservation!
