I have our Adr's booked for Aug 26 through sept 2 and now I find out we have 3 more comming!

Do I have to re-book or when we get there (party of 4) can I now say we are a party of 7?

Help!

My DH parents decided to come with us. My FIL was pretty happy when I had him call back and add the free dining code to there reservation.

Anyways, yes I called and added them to our ADRS. They gave me a new confirmation number for each. 4 out of 6 ADRS, I had to change the time
20 to 30 minutes later.

Especially during Free Dining, I'd sure try to re-book.

If you can't find the availability, you can try just saying you now have 7, but you run the risk of being disappointed. Depending on where you're eating, the CM's may really not be able to help you.

The other option -- if there is no availability -- is to just explain the situation to the late-joiners and suggest they make their own arrangements. With dining during that period, failure to plan on their part should not constitute an emergency on your part...:rolleyes1

In the end, it may boil down to what's most important to you -- dining with those 3 people...or dining at a favorite restaurant.

And don't forget, you can "mix and match." You might choose to dine with them some meals, but you might not want to give up that one special meal because you can't get an ADR for 7.

You are essentially doubling the number of people in your party and the number of tables needed to seat you. Yes, I would re-book your ADRs even if you lose some "prime" times. It would be very rude to just show up with twice as many people, IMO. You would basically be denying another party of 4 their table for that time and they would take a later ADR's table and so on and so on until the end of the night or there is a no-show.

Yes, you should call and add them. I had to add people to my ADR. I had to change the times at a couple places, but it was important to me that we eat together. They gave me new confirmation numbers too. I was glad I called and added them because the CM I spoke with on the phone told me that the extra people in my party could be turned away. She said they would not seat them as the reservations I had were for one table and now I would be needing two.

Definitely have to rebook as at some venues a party of 7 has to be split into 2tables. We are a party of 7 and 1/2 of our ADR's will require us to be at two tables.
