This is our first trip to HHI, we are so excited. Can't wait. Anyone have any helpful hints on things they wish they would have taken with them that wasn't in the room. We are staying in a 1 bedroom villa. Thanks so much.

I remember that one time when we were in a 1 BR, there weren't any pot holders. I'm sure that was just a rare oversight, but we didn't even check until our pizza was ready to come out of the oven. If you get a chance, do the low country boil at the Beach House.

There are alot of things I bring including....ziplocks, Purex sheets, paper plates.....check the Publix ad online tomorrow and see what is on sale....I always make my grocery list before leaving home.....we almost always eat breakfast in our room and carry lunch from our room to the pool. Don't miss any of Blu'Crabbe's activities.....can't wait til our next trip there next June.

We bring aluminum foils ( I tear off a few sheets), spices, wipes to clean remotes, phones etc., coffee, filters, tea bags, sugar, ice tea mix, wireless router, bar of our favorite soap and and straws.

You don't need a wireless router at HHI (one advantage over WDW)-they have wireless internet in all the villas there. It used to be only in 3 or 4 places, but about 2 1/2 years ago, they upgraded to wireless in all villas.

Does anyone know if the same is true for the VB resort? We are hoping to be there for next year's Spring Break. This is very important to me and others in our party.

Can any one think of anything else? We are getting read to go to HHI.

I always like to bring a liquid soap for the kitchen and dish cloths and a towel. They only give you 1 (last time we didn't even have 1) and it's never enough for me. Oh, and a wine opener!

There is no pizza cutter in the villas. We bought some Pillsbury pizza dough and did a "make-your-own-pizza" night and had to cut them with steak knives...got a little messy!
