3 month lead up, accom prices up or down?

We're booking accom for 12-19 November near Disney somewhere.
I'm looking at the prices and wondering if they'll come down in the next 3 months or if they'll go up?
Is there any method to it? Or could it do anything at all?
Does anybody have any insight what hotel pricing does when? LOL

They went up for me. I booked my vacation package the first weekend of April for our September trip (yes that far out!). My the end of May my hotel prices would have jumped from $99 to $139 per night (for a kid suite at Portofino Inns). If you are booking hotel separately without a package I'd go ahead and book now. For places like Hojos they will adjust your rate if they come out with an Entertainment rate for your room. You just have to be diligent with checking the website for cheaper rates and call them to change it. Hotel only reservations are a lot easier to change than vacation packages (which charge you a fee). So you just have to weigh the perks of booking the package (MTTMM, Pref. Seating for DCA, free character breakfast) against the cost of getting things changed if you need to.

Do you mean on site or off site?

On site is running a ton of promotions right now. Because of that, I don't know if you'll see a huge difference in price in a month or two (at least not down, up is most definitely possible!)

As to off site, well they go up and down all the time. If you find a great rate, book it. Almost all places allow you to cancel within 48 hours of check-in. I book where I want to stay and check every 2-3 days. Then if it lowers, I rebook and call and cancel the previous more expensive reservation.

btw, we'll be there Nov. 7-11, and I've found off site rates to be very low right now at most places I've looked at.
