3 instead of 4, change PS's?

Just found out that my FIL who is suppose to be coming with us to WDW has to have a triple bypass next week . I have already made all the PS's and have given deposits in some cases. ie... Hopp De Doo, Cinderella's Castle, etc... MY question is this... Do I have to call and changes all of the PS's to three or just show up with 3 and say my FIL couldn't make it???

Since the 3/4 issue doesnt change the size of the table, I would say in most cases you should be fine. In fact we were in a similar sitution when we made PS for 6 and only 5 of us ended up going(we just couldnt convince my Father to come along), and we didnt change any of those(there were only a few it affected). We never had a problem, and they always asked how many of us when we checked in at the restaurant anyway.
However, if its something you made a deposit for and dont want to risk losing the deposit, I would call back and explain the situation. They should be accomodating.
