3 Grannies, Disney Dancing & Deviltry! Oh, my!!

Aww, so sweet of Judy to care for the puppy. If your males have been altered, which I assume they would be, then it should be fine.....but I would very carefully introduce them for sure. How old is the puppy - has she been spayed already? We call our furbabies pups even when they are 17 years young.

Very good news about Helen! Her sisters sounds too cute!! :goodvibes

Sounds like good news for Shawnee - even if they never figure out what happened , most important is that she is improving.

Continued prayer - thanks for the update.:flower3:

Best Pole dancer YES, But my staff are just like that, I am not taking credit for the dedication they have always given me and the individuals they serve :grouphug:The nursing supervisor holds them up as the example of how staff should be all the time !!:grouphug:

I love my job , it is a priveledge to serve the people with Developmental Disabilitys , for Valentines Day one of the guys , who is known for preferring MALE staff gave me and another staff a red rose , I almost cried I was soooo touched !!:goodvibes. Don't get me wrong my staff hold the guys responsible for doing chores , their appearance, but they take them allsorts of places, play Bingo in house do puzzles and most of all just have a goood time with them, dancing around is an every day thing there and the guys love to see the staff cutting up !!

Rosie, your staff sounds special.... just like their supervisor..:goodvibes

how sweet to receive a rose from one of your guys for valentines day.

Helen is off the ventilator , but still in ICU prolly till wednesday , but she is doing well!!! Her sister dropped in on my staff at his other job, he calls it "A Florence Hit'':rotfl2:She does call a lot even when Helen is/t sick but she is so much fun and so supportive of the staff we all love her !!

Shawnee will be in hospital till Friday at the earliest They still haven't diagnosed her that Judy is aware of Judy hasn't been up to visit much as she took on the HUGE job of caring for her puppy which entails at least 2 visits a day to spend time with her !! "Baby Girl" is VERY lonely!!!:sad1:and this what Shawnee wanted to have her puppy cared for by someone she could trust .Poor Judy has been up very early to be able to get over before work and then again after work and often a late evening trip!! As she is female and our dogs are males , having her here is NOT an option !!:rotfl2:

that's good to read that Helen is improving:thumbsup2 her sister sounds fun loving which is why she enjoys dropping by so much.:)

trust that is sounds like Shawnee's condition is improving as well (as it seems she isn't getting worse).. hopefully she will be able to come home on Friday.

Judy is showing what a true friend means, it is a lot of work running back and forth between houses, but that is what friends do for each other in the time of need. Shawnee must be relieved knowing that her pup is being cared for so well. :goodvibes

Neither of our males is neutered :scared1:So it is out of the question to put them together , I remeber only too well when Kyle FOUND a female , we had to find it a home as it was a NIGHTMARE at the house :rotfl2::rotfl2:
Today I had to go pay a speeding ticket for Shawnee it was due and obviously she couldn't do it !!!Got my cell phone bill paid , went to the PO and took Kyle to Taco Bell !! He is now at his friends house ,where hopefully he will stay occupied till Judy gets home :worship::rotfl2:

Janet I am proud of my daughter , she is always there for her friends, and honestly the only one who is for her is Shawnee, so it is fitting that she is able to help her !!Of course laundry isn't getting done etc etc , but I am trying to keep the HomeFront going !!:rotfl2:

Janet I haven't heard your ideas for places to eat for our Grannie Trip, come to think of it neither have I heard Jeanettes soooo lets get all 5 of us planning !!:banana:It's only 10 months away:rotfl2::rotfl2:

No news on Shawnee!! One of my consumers is in surgery right now , she had ulcerative colitis and has been hospitalized for 10 days >> Prayers for Sweet Helen please !!

That is what I have Rosie. I have been dealing with it off & on for 9 years now. I have Remicade infusions every 6 weeks & I am on a probiotic (also many other meds) to try & keep it in remission. My doctors says I need to think about surgery.:sad2: I am sending prayers for Helen.

Oh my gosh!! My rescue brain just fainted :faint:!!! They will be even better companions neutered and most important, no worries abuout unwanted puppies when so many furbabies are looking for good homes. Okay, end of my rescue speech...forgive me, but after 20 years in rescue...well, you know.:thumbsup2

Rosie how nice of you to take care of the ticket for Shawnee - any word if she will be out of the hospital by the end of the week? Judy is a wonderful daughter!

Is Kyle on vacation this week? It is February vacation for the Boston area - my gosh, saw MK on the Kelly and Michael show this morning ...wow, it sure is CROWDED this week!!!

Is your sweet Helen still in ICU? Always holding them both near in prayer.:goodvibes

I was thinking...maybe we could squeeze in the GF Tea on the Grannie trip? We could go to MK for the morning, then afternoon Tea, then probably a light supper later? We are going to have so much fun!! :woohoo:

y mother had the surgery when I was 12 , so I grew up with both the diseaes and the colostomy afterwards !!! So this will be nothing new to me and I think my first hand knowledge of this is very reassuring to the staff!!

We don't let the dogs roam so therefore NO unwanted furbabies :scared1:The cats are however neutered as they have been known to roam although since surgery have not tried .
The GF Tea is certainly something I would LOVE to do !! A light supper after sounds perfect!! Okay Janet, Jeanette and Linda what are your thoughts !!!!

I'm up to eat anywhere .... I can eat anything!!!!

DD and I were planning some of our ADRs while she visited this weekend. We have quite a list of "must do" .... but I don't think too many of them will be the same as the Granny trip. Our list so far is:

Paradiso 37
Sanaa
Park 1900 (for the step mother & step sisters)
Kona (breakfast)
GF Cafe (breakfast)
Le Cellier (lunch for cheese soup, pretzel bread and dessert only)
Flame Tree BBQ
Via Napoli (white cheese pizza - yum)
Boatwrights (then Piano Bob)

Some of our maybes are: Coral Reef, Wave, Rose & Crown, Chefs de France, Jiko, (if I can afford it) Boma (breakfast), Ragland Road (brunch), 50s PT ... and of course quick meals at WPE and EoS. I know I'm forgetting some ....

I just gave this list so you'd see that I'm really all over the place when it comes to meals. I'm almost no help with CS with a couple of exceptions so I'll leave that up to you all.

When do you think the park hours will be out so we can plan which park on which days which of course leads to my favorite .... ADRs!!! :rotfl2:
