3 girls hit the World - Last Day...The Memory Box is Missing!!!!

I had called on Thursday Night for a late check out and got 1pm!

We went down to WCC and had breakfast. Kate wanted a bandanna hat and tried to make one herself. When the waitress saw it, she laughed and made her one complete with straw "feathers".

We headed to MK and went through our favorite rides...it started to get a bit crowded at 11ish so we decided to head back to the Lodge to seach for the Memory box. As we started out, We had our picture made with our home then off to search. Found the tree with the X no problem, but no box...Looked EVERYWHERE!! Tried to call Fred!!! WHAT!! What happened!!
The trail back to the Lodge was a long and sad one. I had looked forward to putting my token in the box and sifting through my friends momentos...

Checked out and got my car...some dork nicely dinged my fender..UGH!! My new Escape has a dent..very tiny, but still..I was mad!

Took off for home and started planning my next trip...COME ON MAY 7th!!

Hope you enjoyed my trip reports..it is harder than I thought!

was the brainchild of Majestic who wanted a tangible way to connect with those who share a love of the WL and it's Magic. By placing "tokens" in this box (which was originally a Tupperware box) people could leave a "piece of themselves" at the Lodge until they returned. In the meantime, others who found the box could enjoy reviewing what others had left, take something left for the next person (like a pin or stickers) and leave their own token. I know I left a "picture" of my userID with a "Disbug was here!" type of caption. It was all in good fun... but, anytime magic disappears there is a hurt left behind. Kind of like finding out about the tooth fairy.. (SSHHH! Don't tell Fred. We want him to still "BELIEVE"!)
