If you could have any three dinner guests at a table who would you chose? Can be living or dead...

My three..

George Harrison- ( because he was brilliant and in his interviews he seemed very entertaining )

Jane Goodall- because I'd love to hear about her adventures in the wild. I totally admire her.

Mike Rowe- OK folks, this might be my throw away, but he's funny as heck and he's not bad on the eyes either.

Who would be your three dinner guests?

1. My dad- I would love to be able to talk with him again
2. My grandpa because I never got to meet him, he passed away before I was born and I have always heard these great stories about him.
3. John Lennon, just beacuse he is John Lennon.

My grandmother because she was witty and fun and I adored her!

Andrew, my younger brother who was also my best friend.

Jesus because I want to find out what really happened.

We'd have great dinner conversation.

1--My grandparents (they come as a package deal, so they count as 1) :littleangel:
2--My Uncle D :littleangel:
3--And of course, Johnny Depp :cloud9:

1. President George H. W. Bush
2. President Obama
3. My Grandfather. He lied about his age and enlisted for WW II

John Donne and no one else because I'd rather have more time to listen to him.

1. Jesus (no explanation needed, really. He died to save us all. There is no more honored guest than He.)
2. my grandfather (he immigrated to the US from Italy when he was a young child, and had so much will and strength and fortitude. He was a wonderful man and I didn't cherish him enough when he was living. I have regrets.)
3. my mother in law (she died of a brain tumor a year after my DH and I were married. I have always felt gypped that I didn't have enough time as her daughter in law. The year we had together, she was sick and deteriorating quickly. I would love her to meet our children. :sad1:)

My Grandfather- I would love to hear his stories from him.

Vince Vaughn- funny and cute.

Ronald Reagan- I really respect him and would love to talk politics.

1. My mother. She died when I was 2.5 and I would love to see what kind of a person she was.:goodvibes

2. Bill Kristol. Smart and a hoot and a half. He would lighten up any party!

3. Ronald Regan. A fascinating man.

Eliminating the sentimental (family) choices . . .

1) Siddhartha Gautama (the Buddha)
2) Mohandas Gandhi
3) Miguel Serveto Conesa (Michael Servetus)

All three were men who stood up for what was real, and what was true, and what was founded in love for others and for humanity overall. Servetus even died for it, rather than compromise his values.

I would need interpreters for two of my guests, though, since they didn't speak English. :)

1) Paul McCartney (although I'd need help with a vegetarian meal)
2) Ronald Reagan
3) Walt Disney

1) Paul McCartney (although I'd need help with a vegetarian meal)
If you have Paul over for dinner, let me know. My wife and I are vegetarians and will be happy to cook for y'all, as long as we can have dinner with Mr. McCartney with you. ;)

my 11 yr dd says - Selena Gomez, Walt Disney, and Debby Ryan :D
my dh says - Amelia Earhart, Bill Gates, and any extraterrestrial we could find
my 8 yr ds says- great grandma, and great grandpa and grandma :)
my 7 yr dd says- Hannah Montana, Demi Lovato, and Taylor Swift
me--Gerry Bartlett, Charlaine Harris, Christine Feehan (three of my current favorite writers!!)

we would have one awesome party!!

my grandparents who raised me and my great-grandmother who died before I was born.

If it could be, I"d have an easier time choosing...

I'll try to rank them in order.

1.) Dad (1945-2008)
2.) Grandma (1918-1995)
3.) Uncle Tim (1947-2008)
4.) Uncle Tom (1953-2010)

1) Paul McCartney (although I'd need help with a vegetarian meal)
2) Ronald Reagan
3) Walt Disney

If you have Paul over for dinner, let me know. My wife and I are vegetarians and will be happy to cook for y'all, as long as we can have dinner with Mr. McCartney with you. ;)

Please, don't forget to invite me! I'll bring the dessert!
