I am so excited, but I'm afraid the crowds are going to be overwhelming. We're going to be there for such a short time, that I'm hoping that we get to do all that we want when we get there instead of waiting in line the whole time. Anyone just get back?

Also need an opinion on intinerary:

Thursday: We drive in, check in and go to DD.

Friday: MK in the am and shopping in the pm

Saturday: Epcot and WS

Sunday: We drive back home.

Hi Goofyzgurl!
Another GA native here!:teeth:
My only advice for you would be - on the day you go to the MK get there as soon as they open and ride your favorite rides first. If you are staying onsite you can get in an hour before regular guests. We always do this, and usually there is no wait. After you do this get a fast pass for the ride you really want later.:teeth:

However, some people swear by going the day after EMH, in which case Friday would work for you....but opening is at 9.

Just back last night. Very crowded. We usually go in Oct so for us the crowds were a new thing. You definitly need to be there as soon as they open. By 11:00 or so we noticed the crowds swelling. Saturday at MK is the worst from what we saw so I think you are better off there on friday. Epcot on Sat was ok, but if you want to ride test track get there early, both days they ran out of fast passes in the afternoon. Hope that helps.
