We are going at the end of October with me, DH, my mom, and our 6, 3, and 2 year olds. We have 6 day tickets for the kids and 7 day for my husband and I. My mom is going to tag along however many days we need her.
Right now we have 2 days at mk, 2 days at epcot, 1 day each at the other two, and then my husband and I would like to do 1 night alone at mk. We are limited to taking the kids during the daytime hours as there is only 3 days while we are there (October 20-30) that aren't party days and I'm assuming they will be insane.
I was working on our touring plan today and we had been planning to split up Epcot...do the world showcase one day (with DH and I returning in the evening for food and wine) and then future world the second day. But now I'm thinking with the ages of our kids, World Showcase will be a little underwhelming with the exception of Frozen Ever After. My oldest would like Agent P's thing, but I think the younger two might be bored stiff.
Our MK days are more packed than I'd like..I would prefer 6 hours or less for each park days with plenty of relaxation time, and right now we are going from 8 am (EMH) to around 4. But would 3 days (plus a bonus night for DH and I) be too much MK? Will we miss having 2 days at any of the other parks?

I have two days at MK planned for us - fewer and younger kids and thus fewer interests and rides to incorporate - and I do NOT have enough time for all the things I wanted to squeeze in. I would probably do 3 days MK with the kids and do EPCOT for the second time on a kid-free day..

I don't think 3 days is too much. My kids don't love world showcase, so Epcot is a Mac 1 day park for us.

We are doing 3 days at MK. Our schedule is MK, EP, MK, AK, MK. DCs are 7,6,3. Skipping HS because it isn't up our kids' alley. I'm certain our DCs will want to repeat a lot of rides at MK. Enjoy.

It depends on what you like. My family can easily spend two days at Epcot (we always go in December though) and we never feel like one day at AK is enough. I know that's not what most people say though.

We are doing 3 days at MK this trip. Well 2 full and MNSSHP. DAY 1 MK it's a party night but because of early flight in that morning we are fine with leaving at 7 we have an ADR that night at CM. day 2 is HS/AK. Day 3 Epcot in the morning and MNSSHP at night and day 4 is back to MK and another park cause we like to park hop. Last day Epcot to eat around the showcase for food and wine.

We are planning three MK days this trip. I'm taking my 8 and 6 yr old and think it'll be just about perfect for us:)

The last thing you want on your vacation is feeling stressed. :crazy2:

So I believe that 3 days are perfect for MK! :thumbsup2

Plenty of time to catch the parade, the Castle Show and to rides and meet & greets too. :woohoo:

And best of all, if you have time to spare, go back for favorites! :smickey:

:tinker:

Epcot may surprise you. At 2 and 4, my kids thoroughly enjoyed the World Showcase! We took our time and explored the countries, had snacks, shopped, listened to music, and they enjoyed coloring masks (now they're Duffy bears) while meeting folks from other countries at the Kidcot fun stops.

We didn't plan so much back then, but then again, you didn't have to back then!

There is a lot to enjoy at the MK as well, and I agree not to keep little ones out too late. My kids would have been over tired! The night time is fun there - the few times the last couple years we've gone out late, we found no lines hardly, and it was fun.

I'd go with what you planned, but allow for flexibility if someone gets cranky. If you decide, you can always add park hoppers. It's easy to hop from Epcot to DHS and from MK to Epcot.

I don't think so. We will be there for 7 nights and plan on making MK our base for most of the time, doing AK 1, Epcot 1. We go in the morning until right after lunch and also have a water park day and downtown Disney,

We have 6 day hoppers for Nov. My kids will be 9, 7, 5, and just 2 by then. We plan 2 MK, 1 for each other park and day 6 will be a wild card to return to their favorite. We have a breakfast at Ohana that day and then will go wherever. I am guessing it will be MK or maybe Epcot. We have hoppers though so I'm not too worried.

I think you could certainly enjoy three days at MK but I also know that my boys both really like Epcot and WS when they were little. Do you have hoppers? I think that will make things a lot more flexible. I think by ending your day early, you might be good with everyone going back to the parks at least a couple evenings. At least the 6 year old would enjoy a couple of the night shows. Maybe mix it up and mom keep the littles at the resort and you and DH take the older one to fantasmic or wishes one night, and maybe dad keep the kids one night and let you and mom do a night at the parks.

We schedule 2 morning at MK and 2 evenings at MK. This trip we are also including the Halloween Party one evening too.

We always do a minimum 3 days at MK. (I have two girls- 5 and 9) I think you would be surprised with the World Showcase. My girls LOVE the passports and duffy bears and all the characters is so fun. Also, my husband likes the wide array of beer. It is a win for the whole family.

We are doing 2 full days and a half day, the day we leave, but our flight isn't until 6pm, so we will have a good portion of the day to accomplish quite a bit. You can never have too many days at Magic Kingdom!!

We literally end up at MK at least once a day during our trips. 3 days is not too many. :)
