3 days at DL and DCA

we just returned from 3 days at the Happiest Place on Earth . Let me start by saying we have visited WDW 10 times and have been told by everyone that we know that we will be sooo disapointed in DL . NOT AT ALL !!! We LOVED every minute -- the only bad part -- we had to leave . We really wish we could have stayed a couple more days .

We had breakfast at the Plaza Inn . My DD has a food allergy , so the chef came out and personally took her order and made her breakfast .
He returned with 2 huge plates of food .

the rides were awesome - the ones we were able to get on . There were LOTS of issues this week . We NEVER got on Space Mt or Splash Mt. because it was always shut down when we came to ride . we did single rider on Matterhorn -- 7minutes from line to exit !!! AWESOME !!

we waited 3.5 hours to get on Radiator Springs . It broke down 3 times while we were in line and they shut off the line several times during the 3 days we were there . Again we did single rider and cut the wait time by over an hour .
You have to ride it at night !!!

The Princesses were some of the most beautiful that I have ever seen . and they actually took time to chat with each little girl . not a smile ,snap, see ya
kind of thing .

we are in So cal . for a couple more weeks -- we hope to make it back one more time before we head back to the east coast .

So glad you loved DLR!!! It's a pretty magical place. Sorry to hear about the closures and delays. Probably just because Carsland is new and it's the summer season.

Hope you get to return again in the future.

So glad you loved the park. I too have noticed hi lovely the princesses are. So. Cal attracts gorgeous actresses and models and Disney benefits.
What was your reaction to the castle? I always loved it and still do. However after our trip to wdw it seems so small!!

Those people must either be crazy or more likely have never been to DLR.

I'm glad you enjoyed your trip and hope you can make it back. It's too bad you missed Space or Splash. I think DL's Space is much better than MK's. Splash is different but, I think they're both great.

Exactly, they say that because they do not know any better!

We go to WDW every year and everybody told me the same thing!

I loved DLR so much when we went in May, that we are going back in Oct!!

I do love all Disney parks! I can't say that I'm ever at any Disney park without a smile on my face!
