Today we "officially" start packing! We're leaving on Sunday to drive to Sacramento and we will be flying out Monday morning and we will be in DL by Monday afternoon. We are so excited....almost my entire family is going. My parents, me and my girls and my sister and her family.

We'll be celebrating my 16 year old's graduation from High School, my 6 year old's graduation from Kindergarten and my niece's graduation from Junior High.

If anyone has suggestions for things that are a must see or must do, please feel free to reply....I'm trying to not over plan our stay there (like I did 2 years ago)...want to just enjoy ourselves. Hope that makes sense. :)

:grouphug:

I think the key thing will be to remember that it will be busy and to take it slow. Just enjoy yourselves. What we like to do is make a list of must do things and do them earlier in the visit, then at the end we can do other things that weren't a priority or we can make up things we missed earlier for various reasons, that way if something is down the last day we don't miss it because we did it earlier in the trip.
For us must do's are WoC, F!, Billy Hilly, eating a churro (which we do multiple times lol), getting Mickey ice cream bars, Dole Whip (which might be skipped this time because DD isn't a fan and I can't eat a whole one by myself), fireworks, and various rides.

Thanks for the suggestions, Kerri.....we did WoC last time and were THRILLED with it! This time my sister and her family are going and they haven't been to DL for almost 8 years....so, there are lots of new things for them to experience. :-)

Wow, graduation by 16. She must be a smart kid! Have a great trip!

The school she attended had a K-4 and so she turned 4 in that October and by the end of the school year she was doing 1st Grade work already and so they passed her on to 1st grade instead of making her go through K-5. :) She is a bright kid and has done extremely well....graduated with honors and I'm proud of her. :cheer2:

She's is excited beyond words for Disneyland...especially since her best buddy (her cousin Joshua) will be there too.
