I know that Disney doesn't sell them direct.

I know that you can't find them "just anywhere."

I know that "you can't see all the parks and do them justice with a 3-day Park Hopper."

BUT - I also KNOW that I've seen them available SOMEWHERE online before (accessed from these boards - I thought). Am I dreaming?!!!

A 3-day ticket would be perfect for our pre- and post-cruise visit in December.

Thanks.:earboy2:

Ticketmania used to have them, but then supposedly Disney cracked down on them and other ticket brokers selling things that weren't in their contract.

Alamo also used to sell them, but rumor has it that so many people would call just to get the tickets and then wouldn't rent from Alamo so it's highly unlikely you can get those there either.

Bottom line is there are no places that have them regularly. You can call some of the online ticket brokers to see, but I am pretty sure they will tell you that what you see on their website is what they can sell you.

You probably will have to get a 4 day hopper or deal with daily passes and no hopping privileges. Or get the UPH.

That's probably it. I thought I had seen them at Ticketmania (maybe last year?) but couldn't find them listed now. Bummer.

Thanks though.

Dodie,
We bought 3-day park hopper pluses from Alamo about 4 weeks ago. We did have to give them a confirmation number in order to buy the tickets. They were then mailed to us and we received them in exactly one week. The first person I talked to didn't have a clue about the tickets so she asked around and eventually connected me to the right person.
But they are out there if you want them, but I believe Alamo is the only outlet for them at this time.

Central Florida Tickets and Travel 407 932-2080 used to sell them but you have to call and ask by phone if they are still available.

Are you sure it's a Park Hopper? I thought the 3-days were one park per day. The only other 3 day ticket I've heard of is the Ultimate Park Hopper, but you have to buy that along with the resort.

LBS: How much were they?

I'm confused.

but they considered "specialty tickets" and not sold to the general public. You can get them for events like Gay Days, or for conferences or sporting events. Some people have been able to buy them without attending an event, but it is risky in that you never know if you will be asked to provide proof of event registration at the gate (though chances are you won't). These 3-day hoppers often have expiry terms e.g. convention tickets tend to be valid for 7 days before and after the event; Gay Days tickets expire 10 days after first use or before December 31, 2004 etc.

I want to buy 3-day hoppers for my short October trip, but haven't decided how to go about it yet. There are several options, but I really don't want to take any risks, and I'd like to do it in the most legit way (don't want to misrepresent myself).

I just bought a 3 day PHP from Alamo; yes, I am renting an Alamo vehicle.

The tickets I bought were 3-day park hopper pluses, so you get one water park or PI with them. And yes they are hopper tickets. In fact, it was a Disney ticket agent who sold them to me. She acted as if the existence of these tickets was something they wanted to keep hidden.

The approximate cost was $179 for adults and $148 for children.

I just bought a 3 day park hopper plus from DiscountOrlandoVacations.com.

They have the regular 3-day park hopper, and the 3-day park hopper plus. The regular 3-day is $170.00/1 ticket. The 3-day hopper is $190.00/1 ticket.

Hope this helps!

Central Florida Tickets does sell 3 day hoppers. I called today about them (but ended up with 4 day instead). They are the same price as disney ... $179 adult.

Hmmm, when I try typing in DiscountOrlandoVacations.com it comes up with a page saying that the site doesn't exist but that domain name has been registered.

Sorry!!!

Here's the correct address. (no "s" at the end of vacation....)

Thanks!

And to correct what I said earlier... the 3 day park hopper is $170 and the 3 day park hopper PLUS is $190.

I guess I'm a dunce because when I go to their site (thanks for the corrected address), according to their Disney page they only sell 4 day and more. I was looking at this page: http://www.discountorlandovacation.com/cgi-bin/ccp51/cp-app.cgi?pg=cat&ref=disney

Maybe it's not listed and you had to call???

I'm not trying to be difficult. I'm just trying to find out how to buy one as they sound ideal for our trip.

Alamo/Disney Preferred Ticketing

Alamo is Disney's "official" car rental agency. Because of this special relationship, Alamo customers can buy Walt Disney World tickets through a special Disney department called Preferred Ticketing. This department can sell you some of the more unusual tickets, such as 3-Day Park Hopper PLUS tickets.

To order, call (888) 317-6392 or (407) 934-7639. You may have to confirm that you have a reservation with Alamo in order to qualify.

Currently you can buy the 3-Day Park Hopper PLUS for $178.93 adult, $143.79 child, including tax.

Standard shipping to US addresses is free, or they will deliver to many local hotels, or you can pick up the passes at the "will call" window at any of the four theme parks.

I bought mine back in February before the price increase. You get the hard plastic ticket, which is better if you ask me. They also have the 4 day hopper plus ticket, but I think that hotwire savings club has the best price on the 4 day hopper. These ticket DO NOT expire. The ones the expire are the convention tickets and those you can get via a timeshare promotion (for only $125 per 4 day hopper plus) - I got those last year.

I used the discountorlandovaction.com site. You need to do a search for the passes and then hunt for them. They are not advertised. I bought them before I knew about disboards so the price is not great, but they were the ONLY ones I found. I paid $190 adult 155 child. Look around for the $179 deal first.

good luck:earsboy:

I wish I would have found that deal at Alamo first, too. I bought from discountorlandovacation.com too. but does Alamo offer free shipping? discountorlandovacation.com does. I paid $380.00 total for 2 adult 3-day park hopper plus.

Yeah!!!! 1 more hour till we leave!!!!!!!!

Sorry, I'm just so excited!!!!!!!!:bounce: :sunny:

It looks like your already gone, but yes shipping is free and the price already includes taxes, you actually are being transferred to Disney themselves so you are getting real tickets. Plus the tickets are the hard plastic ones.

yeah, you have to like search for it. do a search from their website and type in 3-day park hopper. i followed a link from another thread on here. i dont rememeber what it was, but i know that i did do a search and you have to go through a couple pages, but it's there. if anything, call them and order it.
