Has anyone bought from Disney after they have taken the in house tour and waited till after the 3 days and received the same offer?
Example $10 off a point or a vacation of equal points that you have purchased

There was a thread on this not too long ago. IIRC some peopole were able to extend that by calling their guide within the 3 days to ask for an extension. I think the manager had to approve it also. Very difficult ot get extended after that.
