3-day hopper - which parks to reserve and which to hop to?

We're visiting for a few days in October and have 3-day hopper tickets. We're doing a split stay at GF then SSR. We've been to all the parks several times, but to DHS and MK more often. We rode ROTR during our last trip and don't really plan to ride it again this time.

I'm wondering which parks to make reservations for and which to hop to? This is what I was thinking:

Day 1 - MK
Day 2 - AK+EPCOT or EPCOT+AK
Day 3 - DHS+(EPCOT or MK)

OR

Day 1 - MK
Day 2 - AK+DHS
Day 3 - EPCOT (and maybe MK)

Thoughts?

Considering it will be F&W season, I would recommend your second plan so you can have full park day at Epcot:

Day 1 - MK
Day 2 - AK+DHS
Day 3 - EPCOT

October trip = good idea to avoid Epcot on weekends due to F&W

if ur not interested in ROTR, I’d go with ur 2nd itinerary as MGM tends to clear out after the 2nd round of VR attempts

Thanks! We don't do F&W, unfortunately. We tried a couple of years ago and our kids got bored and cranky, making it a miserable experience. Would 1/2 day be enough to ride Test Track and Ratatouille?

Thanks! It'll be a weekday. I've learned that evening and weekend crowds at EPCOT are not my cup of tea (i.e. drunks).

I would start with MK and DHS all days and hop to the others. Either 2 starts at DHS or 2 at MK - your choice! AK is definitely a hop to park right now - unless you have never been. Epcot is just a shell at the moment.

I would go with reserving MK, HS and AK and hop to Epcot or the others. We never even pre scheduled fastpass for Epcot pre covid, we always got fastpass day of when we hopped there. My hubby only likes a few rides there and World Showcase. This last trip we had 10 days and only reserved Epcot on arrival day and hopped all the rest, worked out perfectly for us.
You could hop in line for Rat before closing assuming there is a standby line available.

Is Ratatouille expected to have a virtual queue?

No one knows for sure, but speculation from multiple sights say probably not, they will treat it like Minnie and Mickeys Runaway Railroad, which is standby. But fastpass in some form may or may not be back by Oct and they may start utlilizing virtual queues more, so its up in the air.
If it’s an absolute must ride, then reserving Epcot is probably the best choice, so whatever they do, you have the best chance to ride.
