Sorry if this is repetitive, but I couldn't find another thread that answered this question. I am trying to plan my first cruise, the three day, and am thinking about mid-February. I have to take a 12 year old out of school, and would rather do it right before the President's week vacation. I know Orlando is usually too cold for swimming in Feb, but what about CC? Will we be able to really enjoy the beach? I know anything is better than February in Boston, but still... I don't want to waste the trip if going later in March would be better. Thanks for your help!

My very first Disney Cruise was a 3 day in mid Feb. While it was a little cool in Orlando, but it was HOT in Bahamas and Castaway Cay. Don't worry, you will be able to swim at CC...It is in the 80's at the time of the year. Swimming in the pool on board may be chilly if the ship is close to Florida land but not too bad when the sun is OUT. But then again, there are cool Feb and hot Feb.

It was plenty warm in January of this year. high 70's to low 80's and you are right anything is better than Boston in Feb. If you can swim in our water, CC water will be sooooo warm.

We went on a 3 day this past February and it was too cold to swim at CC. Now, we're from Florida so we're used to it being warmer but there really weren't that many people in the water that weekend so it wasn't just us.
