No, Disney does not offer the dolphin swim at their island. They also do not offer it at the stop in Nassau at Blue Lagoon. Only the Dolphin Encounter (my guess would be liability concerns for Disney - they want to stick with the "safe" stuff). However, you can still do the Dolphin Swim (if your cruise takes you to Nassau). We have booked directly through Blue Lagoon at:

It is quite expensive... but two years ago, we did the encounter and absolutely loved it. It was the hi-lite of our trip. This year, now that our daughter is a little older, we are going to do the swim. I highly recommend getting the video and pictures... While the video isn't the greatest quality, this is a once in a lifetime opportunity. And the photo album we got, (though it was $90), had great pictures. Yes, it was expensive, and it was worth every penny (in our oppinion)... As always, be aware that even though dolphins are well trained, they are large in size, and there is always the potential for someone being injured. I believe the risk is minimal, and we are willing to take the chance. But I wouldn't feel right without at least mentioning that Disney probably doesn't have the swim as an excursion due to the increased liability. Hubby, I and my 7 year old daughter will be trying it out this weekend.. Friday, May 24th. If I get a chance, I'll try to comment on our experience! Or you can email me directly at
