Hey all! We'll be venturing to IOA in just a few weeks. :cool1:

We're staying on-site for one night, and with any luck, hope to be at the park for early admission on a Monday and finished touring WWoHP at some point in the late morning.

I know you can't eat breakfast at 3 Broomsticks without a Harry Potter package, so I was wondering if anyone know when it officially opens for "lunch" for the rest of us? I'd prefer not to leave the WWoHP section of the park and try to return to eat later (and possibly stand in a 2 hour line just to get back in), and having a meal there is a MUST DO for my Harry Potter obsessed sister.

Many thanks!!

We ate breakfast without a ressie, just ask at the door. If not, they were opening for lunch at 11:30 when we were there, but there were people lining up well before that.

FYI I highly suggest going to the park even before the 8:00 scheduled opening for on site guests. We were walking through HP at 7:15!

Oh, really? That's GREAT! I thought you needed some kind of reservation/special package to eat that early. Glad to hear it.

And, yes, BELIEVE ME, we'll be there bright and early - if I have anything to do with it, we'll be standing outside the gates of IOA at 5:30am...;)

I do recommend getting there early, but that is not the norm. Offsite guests are usually lined up in Jurassic Park and have to wait until the early entry is over or nearly over. There probably weren't that many onsite guests that day. We left early entry a couple days through Jurassic Park and saw lines already stretched to Toon Lagoon at 9am. Just be prepared for the fact you may have to wait.

Why would they have to wait until 9? They said that they were staying on-site. Yes when we walked out there were a ton of off-site guests lined up through Jurrasic Park but there wasn't a line to get in if you were staying on-site.

Oops. If they are onsite they will get in early. I thought they said they didn't stay on site and were trying to do the package instead.

I need better glasses or something! ;)

Unfortunately we are staying off-site. Do you think we will be able to do breakfast at the 3 broomsticks over the labor day weekend? Any strategy advice? Thanks.
