Day #1
Myself and BFF#1 arrived at MCO with a bumpy but manageable flight at around 3pm on Friday March 27th. We quickly found our luggage and got on ME with a wonderful ride to SSR. I was very happy to have our room request come through in the Congress Park section with a small view of DTD.
Studio room #2336
We quickly changed and went for a wonderful walk to DTD. Did a little window shopping and jumped on a bus for AKL. We had Dinner reservations at Jiko. What a great start to the trip. Dinner was wonderful. The server brought over a speaker phone and informed us that we had a call. It was Goofy calling to wish us a happy birthday. Very cute. After a delicious meal the server brought us two birthday desserts. This was the first of many free desserts that we received. Wear those celebration buttons.....
After dinner we took the bus back to DTD where we did some more window shopping and headed back to our room for a little nap before BFF#2 arrived.
DTD at night...
BFF#2 arrived at around 1am so we just went to the room and looked forward to our next day.
Day#2
Today was just a relaxing day of hanging out at the hot tub. A little swimming, and lots of walking around DTD. We ate a very lite lunch in our room before heading over to DTD. We did lots of window shopping trying to figure out what to bring home for the kids and husband. Went to Confessions of a Shopaholic (great movie) We had dinner reservations for 7pm at Raglan Road. At around 4pm we found ourselves just a little starved and thirsty. So we went to Raglan Road and canceled our reservation for 7 and had dinner at 4pm. I was a little disappointing because I love Raglan Road in the evening. The music is great and the dancers are fun to watch. But I just reminded myself that I'll be back soon enough. I must say that Raglan Road has the best salmon that I have had in some time.... And the apple cider beer is a must. Jump back to the begging of the day.... I gave my BFF's their birthday gifts. I made them Mickey Tye Dye t-shirts. I was very shocked when they wanted to wear them for the day... So we all wore our tye dye around for the day.
After a couple of pints we headed across the street to Harley Davidson...BFF#2 does not want her picture on the internet....
Day#3
This trip was all about doing whatever we wanted. No husbands and no kids meant that it was all about us.
We took our time getting ready in the morning. We had ordered groceries from Garden Grocer so we could eat breakfast in the room and some light snacks. It was raining a little, so once dressed we decided that it would be a good day for some outlet shopping. Got a taxi and off we went. Of course once we arrived at the outlet the sun came out and it was a beautiful day in Florida. So after many, many hours of shopping we got a taxi back to the Contemporary for our dinner at California Grill.
I had never eaten at CG and it is on my list of must do again restaurants.

Our birthday table...
What an amazing meal. We all ordered a sushi dish to start. By far the best sushi I had ever had. Sorry no pictures of our sushi.... The sushi was quite filling so for my main meal I had an appetizer. It was 3 oysters that where so lightly battered and fried with an amazing sauce on top.
Sad that there was only three....
But it left room for this
The three of us and a little goofy but very sweet boy in the back ground...
After dinner we headed back to SSR for some much needed hot tub time.
Day #4
I was very happy that the girls agreed that a day at Epcot would be fun. We got there just for 9am and headed straight for Sorin. I love that ride. Over to Test Track to get fast passes. Did some other stuff and had lunch at Sunshine Seasons. Then back to Test Track. After Test Track we headed over to World Showcase. Took our time going from place to place. Had a rest in Morocco where myself and BFF#1 decided to get some henna tattoos.
Me..
BFF#1..
After some more touring we finally made it to UK for some much needed refreshments. We found a great table outside in the shade.
Hoping that my friends would agree to an Epcot day I had made dinner reservations at Chefs de France. We had a wonderful and cute waiter and the food was good too....
The best part...
After dinner we found a wonderful spot for IllumiNations. Talked with two other wonderful couples from NY and FLA. and enjoyed the show.
Day#5
Our last full day.
We spent the day finally buying the things for our families and once again we found ourselves at Raglan Road
BFF#2 had to leave that day so we sent her off on ME and got ready for dinner at Narcoossee's The meal was great but I was a little disappointed with the atmosphere. Very loud. I don't know if that is all the time or just this particular night. We had a wonderful table right at the window. We could see the castle. One nice thing is that we never felt rushed. We enjoyed our meal for almost 2 hours.
Key Lime Creme Brulee.
Just in time to step out onto the deck for my favorite fireworks show, Wishes.
A great way to finish off our night.
Day #6
ME pick up at 6:30am
for our flight back to reality.... Very happy to be back home because I know I'll be back again:
