3 Best 1 ticket eateries

New poster here, although I was a member years ago when planning trips with my young children. Now it's DH and me for a three night whirlwind tour. We are staying at POFQ and want to try the dining plan.

We were thinking about trying California Grill for two tickets and I will be making that ressie on 1/30....however, I was wondering what the top three one ticket places would be in case we chicken out on CG.

I think we'll already definitely be doing Le Cellier in Epcot...

Choices can be in Epcot, MGM or resorts! Thanks for your help, I know I can always count on the DIS'ers for good advice

Getting a table for 2 at Le Cellar is near impossible. Do that the very morning that you can make your dinner ressies. They have very few duece tops for table.

Ran into that problem myself last September.

Just thought you would like to know.

And for Us Ohanua's is still a must do. Seems to be more of a love/hate thing these days be we love it.

Wow! Thanks Dave, would never have guessed that about Le Cellier. We have eaten at Ohana's with the kids and loved it.

#3 Hollywood & Vine Fantasmic Pkg (buffet is adequate, we're lazy like having a seat @ Fantasmic w/o sitting around a long time).

Hmm, our three repeats from our last trip are Cali Grille, Le Cellier, and 50's PTC. You already have two of the three on your list, and 50's can hardly be called high cuisine!

Do you like fish/seafood? They have changed Coral Reef to only 1 TS credit - I have never eaten there, and it also seems to be a love/hate thing from the reviews I have been reading. Others rave about eating in Morocco. Just a couple to throw out there. Depends on what kind of food/atmosphere you would like, I guess. But, it's Disney, so it's all good!

We've loved all our Disney meals, but it's hard to choose between old favorites and trying something new!

Current plan is first night at California Grille, second night Le Cellier and then going to Cape May buffet out of pocket on the last night after MGM closes...but I can't help second-quessing if we could eat somewhere special for just one credit instead of splurging two at Cali Grill. We liked Spoodles, but I do want to try something new.

Kona Cafe is a great restaurant and it's only 1 credit. I really recommend it. Great desserts and great mixed drinks too!

Also, all the restaurants in World Showcase are 1 credit (except for the Bistro restaurant), and I think everybody should try them all once. We've had great dinners at Alfredos and Le Cellier.

Raglan Road is fun too for adults (hmm, Smithwicks).

Boma is very good too.

But you should not miss California Grill!

My DH finally talked me into Calif Grill when we celebrated our anniversary. (He wanted V&A but I just couldn't spend that much and still be able to eat.)

Anyway, Calif Grill was the best meal I had ever had in my life! I wanted to lick my plate and kiss the chef. I hope that if you try it, you enjoy it as much as I did. WOW!

We got a seat by the window and were able to see the Electric Water parade. When our dessert came, it said "Happy Anniversary" in white chocolate written on a piece of milk chocolate.
