3/8/03 Eastern Magic...Who's going?

Hi,
I have been checking this thread to see who all will be with us. I guess everyone is doing the same thing. Well our group is made up of some past cruiser and some frist timers. None of us have ever been on Disney. We have a few families who are going in early to do WDW first. On the ship we will be a group of seven cabins. Our children run from the ages of 15 to 1 1/2 years old.We have been planning this for almost two years. I can't tell you how much fun its been talking about our plans everytime we see any of the familes. I made up copies of the Magic Guide and got Mickey ears for all of us. All of our kids know the room service menu by heart. (Thanks Dave) .I'm as bad as any kid. I'm losing sleep over the excitment of our trip getting so close.Well that might have something to do with the fact I still can't fit in most of my summer clothes!!I might be making one more trip to the Mall at the last minute.....Well back to eating my carrots...Happy sailing!!!

Something tells me your DD will find lots of new friends. I can't believe know else is own the ship but us!!!WOW lucky us.

I thought with it being spring break....especially here in Texas...that I would get a lot of response on this thread. So far it's been really slow. What deck will you guys be on?

Hi,
We are on Deck two. Its not spring break here in our town. Our kids are missing two weeks of school....Not a good thing but it couldn't be helped.

We will be there too!! I have 6 and 9 y/o boys. We are on Deck 6 and I am so excited I cant hardly think about it. I read these boards most every night and I cant hardly sleep. My kids dont even know we are going, we are 1st time cruisers also. This will also be there first time to fly. This week is our spring break and we live in the south. I wonder if the ship will be full?

My husband lost his job and I already paid for the trip ( thank God for that) but we are on limited budget. How much is the least i can take? Is there free stuff at the different ports to do beside the beach? Could be sad but am grateful we still get to go. Any comment please email me at ks@dedac.com I am not very good finding my posts replies. Thanks:Pinkbounc :earsgirl: :earsboy: :earsboy: :earsboy:

Hi,
We only booked things threw Disney on St. Martin. But on St Thomas we are doing Coral World on our own.
You know you can walk around town and see the shops and the people. Then get back on the ship and enjoy not having any crowds. On other cruise lines I have stayed on ship and loved it. The kids will have the pools and all of your attention!!

Our family is getting really excited for the March 8th Eastern cruise too. We have 3 kids - boys 9 & 10 and girl 5 (will be 6 in March). We are also from Texas and will be on Spring Break.

I am hoping DD will meet some great new "best" friends and also hoping the boys won't be bored in the Oceaneer's Club.

Is anyone planning to pick a time and spot to meet while on board??

Will your DD be participating in the kid's club? My daughter will definitely be looking for friends as she is an only child and is ALWAYS looking for someone to play with. She just turned 6. We will be on deck 7. What part of Texas will you be coming from?
