3/7/09 Western Caribbean - Meet Information

It's Sunday morning and DH and DD are still in bed, so I thought I would check in with everybody. We are only 6 days away until we set sail.

My DD went to see the Jonas Bros 3D movie on Friday, but I don't think she'll be seeing it onboard. She's more into Hannah Montana and only went because a friend asked her.

I finished my T-Shirts, they look pretty good, if I do say so myself.

Now all I have left to do is and packing! Well I do have a few other things this week yet. I am selling Girl Scout cookies at our local grocery store today, then I have a Girl Scout Leaders meeting on Tuesday night, a Brownie meeting after school on Wednesday and couple of appointments during the week before we can head to the airport on Friday. If anything, keeping busy will help make the time go by faster.

Hope you all have cooperative weather and very safe travels to Port Canaveral and I look forward to catching up with you on the ship.

Is anyone else bringing a fish extender? It would be a good idea for those planning to have fish extenders to post their room numbers so anyone wanting to leave a gift will know where to go. At this late date, I'm not planning to make one of my own--but may bring something along for anyone who has one.

Rob and I will have a fish extender....We will not know what room we will be in until we are at the port. But will let everyone know on the word search I have made as they should be returned to the fish extender. Everyone should bring one it will be lots of fun. lol

6 more days!!! Looking forward to meeting all of you next Saturday in Port Carnaveral. Did some washing and packing today while watching it snow outside (while praying the weatherman is wrong about the foot of snow we're supposed to get tonight).

Hello Everyone,

Its just days away(4) and we are SOOOOO excited!!!!!

We fly to Orlando on Friday night and were keeping our eyes on the weather.


I saw what a fish extender was when I was browsing the magnet site one of the Dis members gave to me , what a cool idea

Can I buy a fish extender on the ship. Is it possible to get one this late or am I dreaming.

My 11 year old DD helped me find and put together (the best we could for 1st
timers) some door magnets, Thanx Molly I you

I wasn't planning on a fish extender either, but I got to thinking that maybe I could find a small canvas bag at Michael's and iron on a design to hang. Unfortunately, I won't have time to get any fish extender gifts for everybody.

BTW, it is supposed to be 90 degrees here tomorrow. Whoever heard of going to the Caribbean to get cooler weather!

We just finished a snow storm in NYC with 12 inches of snow! Glad it happened today and not Saturday......it's windy and cold, brrrrrr.....here. Keep thinking of those palm trees, blue water and sunny skies!

Wendy, I was a Brownie Leader for 17 years. Really enjoyed it! One thing I don't miss is the hundreds of cases of GS cookies being delivered to my house!

I do not have a FE but have goodies for all.

Looking forward to meeting all on Saturday at 3:00 pm!

For all of those that do not have a fish extender. Head to your local dollar store grab a canvas bag with a marker and hang it lol....Just a thought.

I will tell you one of my items is going to be Pirate bandnas given on the first or second night to some people so that way you dont have to wait until pirate night to get them. I also have some princess rings. The rest is going to be a surprise.

FE gifts are small and generally not very expensive. They can be whatever you want. Here are a couple threads of some ideas other people have done.
