I will post more as I receive it! :)

Glad to see the ship will be so empty. We'll be there-me, DH, DS 13, DS 11, and DD amost 8! Can't wait. I've been anticipating airfare-boy feb airfares are high!

It's official!
the 11 of us are on the cruise!
It will be 5 kids three girls: 15, 14 (turning 15 on cruise), and 10, and two boys: 10 and 13.

Yeah!! I was starting to wonder where everyone was ;) Have you all cruised the Magic before? My daughter and I went on one of the Mexico cruises last summer, and had a blast! This time she'll be 81/2, so they'll be more choices for excursions, and hopefully she'll like the lab better than the club!

This will be my sister and my 3rd time on the Magic, my parents 3rd time on the Magic--but 4th time on DCL, my grandparents 2nd time on the Magic, and my aunt, uncle, and cousins 1st time. :cool1: I'm so excited for another birthday on the ship! :cheer2:

just checking what's new...? ANYONE ELSE?

I'm with minnie328. We are getting excited, even though it is 10 months away. We have already made our air reservations, and check the DIS Boards every day.
Anybody else going, or is the ship going to be empty?

sorry to post here but just thought i would tell you this. i am not going on your cruise but more people will respond closer to the cruise! so dont think that nobody is going on your cruise, just know that boatloads (haha im so corny) of people will come closer to the cruise. enjoy your cruise! i am going on the eastern magic in 24 days! yaaay!

An empty ship will be wonderful! Wee are so excited-I think it comes up just about every day! Booked our airfare(yikes), rental cars and the Residence Inn for the night before. Its like planning a wedding-you do everything so far in advance and then you just wait!

Add this lurker family to the list. We're booked for 3/24/07 Western - our first Disney cruise. It will be me, DH, DS (7), twin DDs (4) and my parents. I'll be here looking for info more often now!

Hi everyone!!! gosh, its hard to get this thread going. Lets see if we can move it up and catch some new cruisers. Has anyone cruised in March before? What can we expect as to weather, ocean temps, etc. My dd and I went on the
west cooast cruise last summer, so being cold wasn't an issue! I hope everyon'es summer is going well . .

It is hard to get this thread going...but at least not too many people will be on the ship...lol!
Anyways, I went on a Western Caribbean March 25-April 1 this year (the same time we will be going next year) The weather was chilly at first, but near the end.. it was HOT HOT HOT!!! The water at CC was in the 70's...a bit chilly, but eventually you got used to it.:)

What excursions did you do, and would you recommend them?

Here was everyone who was on our March 25, 2006 cruise:

My sister (age 9 then)
Me (age 13/14 then)
My parents (40's)
and my grandparents (70's)

KEY WEST: we just walked around and picked up some things at the local CVS. We all went back to the boat after about 45 min/1 hr....except my dad. He walked around more. This port didn't really interest me that much, but I would definitely get off the boat if you have never seen it.

GRAND CAYMAN: (MY B-DAY! :) ) We did the Atlantis semi-submursible submarine here. It was perfect for us! We still saw a lot of fish without getting eaten up by a shark.. :rotfl: It was really good for my grandparents because they don't snorkel and they got to see the fish (they loved this). My dad would have rather snorkeled, but us kids didn't want to... We also took a tour from one of the guys off the street. We went to the turtle farm and Hell. Although the turtle farm is kinda cool, I wouldn't bother doing it Also, Hell was nothing. Don't bother going there.

COSTA MAYA: I won't tell you about this because we're not going here...

CASTAWAY CAY!!!!! Here my sister, me, and our grandparents did Captain Ray's stingray thing... It's not scary, and it's worth doing it. We all didn't feel comfortable doing the one in GC, because they have the stingers on them still and at CC Disney cuts them off. Also, the one at GC turned out to be canceled due to high winds..

I recomend doing the Atlantis submarine and the stingrays at CC.

READ MY TRIP REPORT!!!! It tells about everything in full detail! http://www.disboards.com/showthread.php?t=1076276

Hi everyone -- I searched the forum and couldn't find another thread for this sailing. My three daughters and I were just on the 8/27 Wonder sailing and re-booked aboard for this one. Is anyone else on the Disboards booked for this sailing?

We are!! I am travelling with my dd8 - and cant wait. (didn't actually mean to create poetry here). There was a thread on this trip started several months ago, but it never really went anywhere, so maybe we can get it going. How old are your kids? Will this be your first 7night? We went on the Magic to Mexico last summer and had a blast.

I'm so glad to know that others on the DIS are going! Yes, it will be our first 7 night cruise. I will be travelling with my three daughters, 14, 12, and 9 at the time of the cruise.

Maybe we can get this thread going -- I know that for my recent 4 night Wonder cruise we were all able to share a lot of good tips. I'm already researching excursions . . .
