3- Chase's Third Birthday
2- Our Second Cruise
1- Our First Trip Report

Hi everyone. I have so enjoyed and learned from these trip reports so I am going to go ahead and try one.

We were on the Western Magic from the 16th to the 23rd and before the cruise we spent three days at the Poly (I will do that trip report in the other section).

Me (Tara) and Sienna. Mike and Chase.

We took Fl. Tours to the terminal from the Poly. They picked us up at 10 and we arrived at the terminal about 11 and checked our bags. Check in was very fast then we waited until about 12:45 to board. We went right to Parrot Cay for lunch, which was not crowded at all. Our room (7044) was ready about 1:40.

We were on this cruise also!!! Love re-living our wonderful vacation. Can wait to read more!!!

Great start! I can't wait to read more of your first report! Really loving the copies of the Navigator. Thanks for posting those!

Thanks for the encouraging words. I am going to try to do a little each day. Hope you enjoy.

So we get to our room and I truly don't know where the time went from then until the drill. I know we were going to go in the pools but somehow Chase's bathing suit didn't make it in the carry on bags. We did have some birthday cake that my husband pre ordered for Chase's birthday. It was tasty but too way too big for the four of us.

We went to the open house at the clubs next. We missed this last year. And i think now its a good idea to do it. Both my kids were so much more excited on Sunday to go to the clubs after getting a taste of it on Saturday.

Then off for the drill. The kids really hated it. It wasn't long but felt like forever with too cranky ones- oh make that three my husband didn't handle it well either.

When the drill was over we found half our bags waiting so I quickly got to unpacking. We had late seating, which actually was easier for us with the kids. Chase would nap in the nursery everyday about 2-5pm so then we didn't rush to dinner and he could stay up late with the rest of us. But we missed all the shows except Dreams. Last year we did early dinner and we missed a few of them. FYI our dinner rotation was LAPPLAP.

So the bag we received was our bag of dirty clothes. So I thought let me do some laundry. Sienna and I went off to the laundry room. We load up three washer, add laundry detergent, scan card- NOTHING WORKS!!!!! I felt that maybe i was electronically challenged so I go get Mike to have him try. Well he has the same problems. So after about 45 minutes of talking and waiting Disney tells us they will do the laundry for us. WOW. $250 dollars worth of laundry back to us in less than 24 hours. I know other had the same problems and even though there were issue with the Magic after dry dock, Disney did respond and help.

So after all the unpacking is done we head out to dinner. All the food on the cruise was excellent. Our cruise last year we had our photo taken at every dinner. This year they only came to our table twice. And no photo in Palo. We were very disappointed in that change.

After dinner we walked around a bit and then went to bed. Sienna- 4- was so excited to sleep in the top bunk. She made about and hour and got scared. So she came down to the bed with me and my husband. He couldn't sleep so he went to the top bunk. He said it was very uncomfortable up there. So now we were wishing we got a CAT4 so we would have the murphy bed. OH and Chase is super happy in the couch/bed so he isn't moving anywhere. But good news. Sunday night comes, Sienna wants to try the top bunk again. She loves it now and sleeps there the rest of the week. Yeah- we all got to sleep good on this cruise!!!!!

Sunday morning we get up in time for breakfast at Lumiere's. Last year on our first cruise we only made it to the character breakfast so really made us feel like we were off to a better start.

After some fun in the splash pool, Chase asked if he could go to his club. Then he said he wanted to go so he could take a nap. I was so upset that he wasn't fully potty trained before leaving on this cruise, but it turned out perfect because he slept every afternoon in flounders reef.

While Chase slept Sienna and I did a little shopping in Key West and Mike explored the ship and had a cigar.

Glen Foster, the comedian and magician on the ship, stopped and offered to take our picture.

We enjoyed shopping in Key West, but the only way to get a 4 year old to walk that much is if they are walking to a toy store.

I also was on this cruise (hi Joanne! :yay: :yay: :yay:) and love reading about it, looking forward to more!

Our cruise last year we had our photo taken at every dinner. This year they only came to our table twice. And no photo in Palo. We were very disappointed in that change.

Ah, so they used to take a photo at every dinner? We did not ever have a photographer visit our table in any of the regular restaurants, not even on the very first night, so when we went past Shutters the next day we were astonished at all the many pictures on display there, of seemingly everyone but us (). That said, we did have a picture taken at Palo and it turned out very well.

More, more! Loving the pics. I am on the Magic in January, the same itinerary as well, and am loving the pictures and the Personal Navigator. It's giving me an idea of what to expect. :thumbsup2
