OK, I'm on to our third day...sniff sniff. I'm depressed just thinking its over.
DAY THREE - Got up bright and early to hit RNRC and ToT one, ok, two last times. My boyfriend is absolutely terrified of Tot (wimp..hehe), so he gave me his fast pass so I can ride two more times. All I have to say is, now when you ride ToT, its like the first time. You get this feeling of fear in the pit of your stomach because you no longer know what is going to happen to you...its great!! In the three times I rode it this trip, all three were different. My favorite was the last, sitting in the "suicide seat." Just when you think its over, the ghosts come on screen and motion to come back and you get shot up again! What a blast!
We then hit RNRC, where I got whiplash (not really) from our audio not working. I wasn't anticipating a take off (no countdown mind you) and was checking out the people behind me when we took off and I whacked my head! OUCH!
We then went to EPCOT where we had about two hours before we had to go back to CSR to wash up for California Grill. We hung around the countries and that was it.
Then off to California Grill, the highlight of the trip, or so we thought it would be! When making my PS, the CM told me there were two open, 5:45 and 6:30 but I would have NO PROBLEM taking 6:30 and getting a window seat for the 7:00 fireworks....wrong!! I got there at 6 and all the window seats were gone! I was so upset, but the hostess was from my boyfriend's town, so we got a good seat one away from the windows. But the food was wonderful. We started with the Triple Cheese, Triple Garlic flatbread (mmmmm), my honey had Yellowfin Tuna and I had the Saffron Fennel Broth. With two glasses of wine and tip, we spent about $120, but it was worth it to be there during the fireworks, when they dim all the lights and the music pumps through as you get a breathtaking view of the MK.
Once we were done, we monorailed to EPCOT, hoping to ride Test Track when it started downright pouring! Oh well, back to the resort. We have a big day tomorrow of Chefs de France and ENight!
