2yr old- Halloween or christmas

I've done Halloween and am doing Christmas this year. I would have to say Christmas only because I think the cheerfulness and bright lights would be more appealing to a toddler.

Neither.......Parties are from 7-12pm and that is really late for most toddlers. It's a lot of extra money to have a little one pass out at 9:00pm. Now, the parties are fun, and we recommend trying them at least once, but we also recommend to wait to at least school age to do them.

2 and under doesn't have to pay for their ticket, so if you are OK paying for your tickets, but perhaps not getting to stay very late, maybe it's OK? We did MVMCP with 1 year olds and MNSSHP with 2 year olds. We enjoyed both, but probably liked the Christmas better. My daughter LOVED the Christmas parade. That said, I used Disney Visa Rewards dollars to pay for our adult tickets and I viewed it as "free money." (I know, that's kind of stupid...) Had the cost of the tickets been an issue, I wouldn't recommend either for a 2-year old. But I really wanted to do it and I'm glad we did. For the Halloween Party, we did not dress our kids up in costumes. We are doing the Christmas Party again this year at age 3, then the Halloween Party again at age 4 where they will wear costumes and really get to experience it.

I've never done Halloween, but DD loved the Christmas party last year at age 2. She stayed up for most if it. The parade was her favorite part. And the castle lighting because she loves Frozen.

I took my one year olds to Halloween and two year olds to MVMCP. I liked Halloween better but they probably liked Christmas... I really want to take them back for Halloween again. One other note... if they are afraid of characters, do NOT do Halloween.... lots of people dress up pretty spectacularly!!

I would say Christmas for the simple fact that it is bright and cheerful and most toddlers that age are in awe of Christmas trees, lights, etc.

Personally I love MNSSHP BUT the lighting and atmosphere could be considered Spooky and you can't control what other people will be wearing and your kiddo might be afraid.
