I've been reading posts on which restaurants are or aren't worth 2TS... SO my question is.... Which restaurants do you find ARE worth 2TS??????

"Worth" is so subjective, that it really depends on your own personal values. I try to read restaurant reviews and trip reports by members, trying to get a feel for folks who are "just like me" and then rely on their recommendations and evaluations.

Objectively, some of the 2TS meals are clearly closer to providing the same value as 1TS meals than others. Cinderella's costs $32 for breakfast and $38 for dinner, while Spirit of Aloha costs $50 for dinner. Since both cost 2TS, clearly Spirit of Aloha provides greater financial value per TS credit. However, neither provides the same financial value per TS credit as, say, Le Cellier, Coral Reef, Chefs de France, etc., which typically could be worth between $35 per TS credit to as much as $60 per TS credit, depending on how much you decide to order (i.e., appetizers and desserts).

If you look just at the numbers and you're paying for the DDP, then none of them make financial sense. However, for us, the Dining Plan is a lot of food. Using the two TS credits for a single meal makes sense for us, since we'd never be able to fully utilize the plan without it. That being said, we love the Brown Derby at MGM and we'll be trying Artist Point this coming trip. I'd say book whatever sounds good. It's vacation!

we are trying Jiko for this trip, everyone says it is a must do, so maybe there? maybe someone else has a better input on this place.

Susan... That's EXACTLY how we looked at it! We will also be doing AP and BD on our upcoming trip! AP for Christmas dinner - it's what everyone voted for and BD for a Fantasmic Package because - it IS Christmas and my brother has never seen Fantasmic. We contemplated paying oop for the BD because of the cost comparison for the package vs using 2 TSes but then decided - but where else would we use them??? So, it might not be the BEST use or what others would choose to do but it works for us!!!
