Wanted to get an opinion on this. On a MVMCP night we have reservations for lunch at LeCellier (only one I could get) at 12:50 and also a dinner reservations at Crystal Palace at 6:50pm. We've been to CP for breakfast before and wanted to try out dinner and again this is the only CP dinner I could get. Is it too much food for these 2 restaurants in 1 day, let alone the time in between is only 6hours? If so, sighhhh...which should I keep? :confused3

I say- keep them both! There are people out there who would say this is too much food or too much disruption to the day, but as I said in another post- food is part of the WDW experience. While I don't agree with the hype- a trip to Le Cellier is vital to many people and CP should be a great mood setter for MVMCP + IMO one of the best buffets.

I'd drop the CP during MVMCP. It would take up a lot of time that is better spent doing rides and taking in the shows and parades.

Ooops...I actually forgot to mention that important detail, we're not planning to attend the MVMCP. We're lucky enough to snag a 6:20pm ressie and the great DISers advised me that we're allowed to stay for dinner and leave after. Hopefully we could see something during dinner...if not, no big deal.:thumbsup2

Personally I think 2 TS is too much food, but in your case I think you should keep both!!!! Le Cellier is AMAZING and to have CP during MVMCP would be AWESOME, maybe you will see snow!!!

I agree with both comments here.

I would recommend you show up at CP exactly on time, not early. Our experience is there is usually a bit of a wait at CP. By the time you get seated it might be closer to 7 giving your appetite time to recover. You can also eat at a relaxed pace which helps at a buffet.

:thumbsup2 :thumbsup2 :thumbsup2

I knew that I could count on you guys' to convince me that it's okay to keep both. It may be a bit much food...but, promise to pace myself. :rotfl:

30 days and counting...:dance3:

i'd say go ahead and keep both, eat whatever you want at lunch (le cellier has good food) then use the buffet to pick at what you want, enjoy the characters and enjoy a relaxed end of the evening. if you're hungry enough to eat a lot off the buffet then great, if not don't worry over it...you're on vacation and lets face it even the cost of one persons meal you'd probably not think twice if you spent the same amount on something at home.

CP stinks, the food is way too salty

I would keep LC lunch and eat CS at MK for dinner

I would skip LC service stinks, food OK but nothing to brag about. I would for sure keep CP but I am suprise they let you make an ADR without a Party ticket. You may have a problem here when you go to MK but who knows lately they have been lacks in screening for guest without wrist bands. Still think they need to go back the way they use to do it and clear out the park at 6PM for he party just MHO.

We do 2 TS a day but its spaced out a little bit more. We usually do lunch at 11:30-12 and dinner at 7:30 or so. The lunch being in the park and dinner usually at the hotels. By the time you get seated for CP it will probably be later than your adr and I would try to check in to lunch a little earlier.

We'll be doing 2 character buffets in one day in January. My hubby and son will be doing Chef Mickey's at 8 am while I run the marathon. Then, we're eating a very late lunch at 2:45 at Crystal Palace. I think the guys will be fine. That gives them about 6 hours between, which, even if they overeat at breakfast, will be plenty of time.

I say go for it. Why not?

I completely agree with this statement. We do at least 2 TS meals a day, since we are on the DxDP we will do a TS for breakfast and then a signature meal for dinner. However, there are a couple of days that we are doing 3 TS meals in a day, but we are a family that goes to Disney twice in a year each for 10 day trips, therefore we are there a lot, so we like to take it really slow and when it is meal time, sit down and have a really good dining experience :goodvibes. Enjoy what you have.

Thanks for all the great advice!!! I think I'll keep both and if too full the day of....then I'll cancel hoping a lucky walkup can have a chance.:goodvibes

I'd keep both of them.

I'm doing 2 TS meals in the same day & abit closer together than I want. Only way I could get Coral Reef was the candlelight p. at 2 p.m. lunch seating. I am so hoping to get seated earlier as we have supper at LeCellier & we have only a 6 hour gap between the two. But both restaurants are a must on our list & we'll do lots of walking between times hoping to get hungry again.

We did Akershus at 12:20 and Coral Reef at 6:30 and were just fine.

Keep 'em both!

We've also done 3TS in one day with Deluxe dining. It is way too much food but I learned not to over eat!

Oooh... just thought of something too.

My BFF sometimes took her dessert to go at dinner, it was usually fruit. She would save it for breakfast the following morning.

You could always skip dessert!
