WQe will be there 9/9-911? Hoping it will be slower. Wishful thinking? What are the average waittimes? Anysites to look this up?
Thanks!

Nothing to worry about. Crowds in September are very light. Same thing with the month of February.

The only thing is the parks close at 6pm. Disney people don't understand this, being used to staying until 10pm and watching a show to close the evening.

You'll easily be able to tour with no waits. And at 6pm you can go eat at a Citywalk restaurant, go back to your hotel, and go to bed early.

No crowds in September. We're heading down the same time as you, and we always go at that time. I can't remember waiting in any line for more than 15, 20 minutes...most rides are walk-ons. Same with dining.

Just watch the heat. September is like a sauna in the middle of a swamp in Orlando. Keep hydrated and don't over-do it. Watch the thunderstorms that roll in at around three p.m. They're full of lightning, but they generally don't last much more than 30 minutes or so. Good time to shop or head inside for a tasty beverage :thumbsup2

Maybe we'll see you! We can be found at Finnegan's at the bar from 11:30 to around 2:00 and O'Brien's nightly sitting outside by the fire fountains, ummm, collecting hurricane glasses :)

We will be there at the same time. I'm not sure how this special event will affect crowds. I'm slightly concerned.

That's good to hear! I really want to make the most out of our time there. We are what you desscribe as commando style. I have never been to IOA. And i love roller coasters. I can't wait!+ :Pinkbounc

Jboehme, the past couple Septembers, that Rock the Universe thing has been going on. The only effect I've seen on the parks from it is at the Universal park, it gets packed as we're leaving. I'm not talking about rides, but just the "streets" at Universal are really crowded. If I recall, we were leaving around four or five to head back to the hotel, maybe as early as 3:30.

What about the weekends? I've read that there are a lot of specials for locals in September. Could it be true? What are the waits like for the regular folk? Unfortunately we don't have fotl.

Also, any good discounts for Wet N Wild? Thanks!!
