Here it goes:
Is the Glassbotoom boat excursion in KW good? Do they have hair braiding there and if so, how much and where? When is the Cpt. Coctail party? When is Tea w/ Wendy and when do you get tix? What is Capt. Marvins? Do they stilll have lobster night and if so when? Is the fire drill still at 4:00 and the sail away party at 4:30? I read somewhere that they have matinees of the nighttime shows. Are they exactly the same and in the same theater as the night shows? Is the matinee the same day as the night performance or the day after?Where would I find my Castaway #? I heard that ESPN is now for teens. Where will they be showing the Superbowl?
I think that's it. Thank you to all for your answers-Kathy

We are doing the western in July and I can answer some of your questions. The drill is still at 4. ESPN is now "the stack" for teens, but they made one of the bars on deck 3 (I think it was off Beat but I'm not sure) a sports bar so you will have a place to watch the super bowl. Capt. Marvins is a vendor in Grand Cayman who offers excursions to Stingray city--there is another recent thread with his EMail--from what I read his boats are less crowded and less expensive, plus kids under 5 can go on his boats unlike the Disney sponsored excursion. From the most recent Western navigators I saw at Barb's site (disneycruiser.info/) they do have matinees of the shows on the day you see them. Lobster is served on semi-formal night I believe, which is Thursday.
Hope this helps. Check out Barb's site for more info.

In response to question about the matinees...

Matinees are shown on sea days. The show is the exact same show that will be shown that night. We chose to do the matinees and then see a movie later. It worked great for us, but they were only on the sea days, not other days.

For stingray city we did Native Way. $25 pp. We liked them, and had a great time! There were other DISers on our trip with them.

The tea with wendy, we didn't do, but from what I read in the navigator, on the day of the tea they would have in the navigator where to get the tickets.

yes the fire drill is at 4:00. Everything stops so that you have no excuse to forget. It is fairly painless, and afterward, you get to party!!!!

I believe the bar with the big screen is Diversions on deck 3. My DH and DS went there to watch some football games.

Hope this helps, Tammy

Is the Glassbotoom boat excursion in KW good?
- didn't do it

Do they have hair braiding there and if so, how much and where?
- they do have hair braiding at a place about 4 blocks down Duval street. Price for whole head corn rows into braids was about $45 (didn't ask about partial heads). On the ship, it's $1 cornrow, $2 braid (or vice verce). On Cozumel, slightly cheaper

When is Tea w/ Wendy and when do you get tix?
- both (I think) sea days, you get tickets on boarding at gueset services

What is Capt. Marvins?
- on Grand Cayman a charter boat company that takes you snorkeling and visits Stingray City 2 hour, 3 hour , full day charters. Great service 8 minute walk from tendering pier, much cheaper and better than Disney's Stingray City excursion, free rum cake to take hoe with you

doesDo they stilll have lobster night and if so when?
- on the 7 day western it was Thursday sea day. It was excellent quality (not all meals were but this was).

Is the fire drill still at 4:00 and the sail away party at 4:30?
- yes

I read somewhere that they have matinees of the nighttime shows. Are they exactly the same and in the same theater as the night shows?
- only for Dreams and Golden Mickeys. They were at 2:00 PM and exactly the same.

Is the matinee the same day as the night performance or the day after?
- yes same day

Where would I find my Castaway #?
- don't know that one

I heard that ESPN is now for teens.
- yes called The Stack

Where will they be showing the Superbowl?
- Diversions, Sessions, lounge midship on deck 3 (don't recall name)

I think that's it. Thank you to all for your answers-Kathy
- You're welcome

If you have sailed before with Disney you should have a CC number. In the past they would send you a card with that number on it, but they haven't been real good about it from what I've heard. Either call Disney direct or if you booked through a TA have them call. Let them know when you sailed before and they should be able to get your number and update your current reservation with it. That will get you the room gift (currently a beach towle and pins) as well as an invite to the returning cruisers party.
