2nd Question about Wishes

If I am able to trade in my Wishes FP for Parade if it becomes available... can you move from Town centre after parade and work your way up Main street to get closer to castle or is it jammed packed and you cant move?

It really depends on how crowded it is. I wouldn't bother moving too much toward the castle if you get a MSEP FP. The view of Wishes down Main Street is fantastic, IMO, but I like to see the Main Street Shops on the side, framing the castle and fireworks.

If an MSEP FP comes up, I'd get that and then just find a spot somewhere on Main Street to watch Wishes, but I wouldn't stress about getting close to the castle. I think you'll be able to find somewhere to stand.

Others may disagree, but that is what I would do.

I have to strongly disagree about staying in Town Square after the parade.

So much discussion leaves out the fact that MK has added a THIRD nighttime
spectacular, "Celebrate the Magic," that begins 15 minutes before Wishes.
It is a high-tech show that is projected right on the front of the Castle facade.
The view of Celebrate the Magic is really poor from Town Square.
Many consider CtM to be an even more exciting, magical and unique show than Wishes,
and it needs to be seen from much closer to the Castle.

Also, (and I consider this to be a major deal breaker)
they intentionally leave the lights of Main Street fully ON
at the Town Square end of Main St. during CtM and Wishes.
This is to facilitate guests leaving MK during these shows.
The very fact that hundreds (thousands?) of guests will be
walking, pushing strollers, piloting ECV's, and even yelling back and forth at each other
over the music of the shows, etc. makes for
an atmosphere that's incompatible with enjoying two of the three major MK nighttime events.
Add to that the thousands of bright lights in your line of vision in shows that are designed to be
seen under dark conditions, it's not a positive experience in my estimation.

Robo- can you help me logistically? I did get a MSEP FP and have never used FP for any of the nighttime shows, but since I got trapped behind a hoard of folks last October, and never saw anything but a blur of lights, I wanted to have a decent view. So...the FP viewing for MSEP is in the Square? and then we navigate down towards the hub for the Castle Show? (I love this show)

I will be there on a Non Party Saturday night in December, so I know it is going to be crowded, and don't mind that for the most part, but I really would like to enjoy all three evening shows that night.
