2nd day ticket for teacher promotion

My wife's niece is a teacher in Florida, and we will be getting discounted tickets from her through the teachers get in free promotion. Does anyone know if it is possible to get a second day ticket when using these tickets? I know the promotion is one day, two park tickets but we wanted to try and get a second day. TIA!

I would imagine you could get the 2nd day...I'm not sure of the cost to upgrade though...it shouldn't be too expensive.

You will be able to upgrade but usually for discounted tickets, the value of the ticket is less. For instance: if a regular 1 day ticket is $90 and a 2 day ticket is $120, you would pay $30 to upgrade the one day to a two day. If your discounted ticket is valued at $50, then you would have to pay $70 to upgrade to a two day.

I don't know what your exact cost would be or even what the value of your ticket would be but it might be cheaper in the long run to just buy one of the tickets that are on the internet: http://www.universalorlando.com/tickets.html
