Hi! Looks good, but I just have a couple of comments. First, make sure that you do not go over your allowed 3-4 oz. of cheese, especially if you end up having cheese again for an afternoon snack. Another thing - I would be STARVING on that diet! But I know everyone's appetite is different, but just remember you are NOT supposed to be hungry (hunger will lead to binges). Do you not like eggs? I find some sort of quiche dish or omelette will really fill me up in the a.m. along with some bacon or sausage. Also, I would add some chicken or tuna along with your salad. Protein (eggs & meat) do wonders for filling you and keeping you feeling full. Protein is about the only thing that is "limitless" during induction - so take advantage of that!!! :)

I totally agree with threeboysmom. I would be starving!! I do Atkins and one of the things that I like is that I'm rarely hungry. Maybe that is enough food for you, but if you find that you are struggling, you may want to add more food.

You may want to look at the journals of some of the other Atkins people to get an idea of what others eat.

Good luck!! It does get better :D

I always thought cheese was unlimmited! I already ate 3 oz cheese and it is only 11:30 AM.
I guess I'll be snacking on sausage tonight.

As far as eggs go, I do like them. But, I just need a break from eggs. I going to try the recipe for the scrambled egg bake that I found on this board. Any other recipe or tips for breakfast are welcome.

According to the book, he only wants you to have 3-4 oz. of cheese a day, including cheese like cream cheese.

Do you have any chicken breasts??

sometimes I do a bunch of chicken (or any kind of meat) at a time. Then I can snack on an ounce or two if I need it as a snack.

It's "officially" limited in the book, and some people stall out if they eat too much cheese. But then there are people like me! :) I regularly eat 4-6 oz per day, and lots of times, it's higher than that. Everyone's body is different.

If you don't eat enough food, your body will go into starvation mode and you will slow your weight loss drastically.

Have you considered eating leftovers for breakfast? I've eaten shrimp scampi, cheeseburgers, chicken tenders, pork chops, steak and other dinner leftovers for breakfast.

You might want to try our mock danish, too. You will find that recipe HERE

Let me just back up all the great advice that's already been given and say that the mock danish is TERRIFIC. My first one was a little weird, but then I cooked it a few seconds longer and really got the "danish" consistency. I mix it in the food processor, pour it into a cereal bowl and nuke it for 2minutes, 10 secs. I even gave one to my husband who said "I think they serve this in Iraqui concentration camps!" but then he ended up really liking it! I highly recommend it.
