I am so sorry. I know it's hard. Find another place to work, then quit. I've done it before and may have to do it again, but sometimes you have to go down (pay/ranking) in order to move up.

But...years from now which will you regret more - not having that job - or not having another child? Only you can answer that and act accordingly. Good luck to you!

I think you will regret not having another child if that is what you desire. I hope it all works out for you. I can't believe an employer would make a statement like that. Can you get it on tape??
