Depends on what some of your personal preferences are. If you prefer a hotel feeling with room service, have no need for a full kitchen and only need a king bed, a queen bed and two pull out sofas, are in love with walking to two parks, valet parking, etc., then BWV might be the choice for you.

If you want more of a vacation home feel, with HUGE rooms, extra queen sized real bed, a full size kitchen, extra large deck, and full sized laundry appliances and laundry ROOM rather than closet, prefer a liesurly ride to the parks, and like parking outside your door with NO long hallways, then OKW should be your choice.

Some will prefer one, some will prefer the other. I prefer the large rooms, peaceful atmosphere, full sized appliances, and parking outside the door, not to mention the HUGE balcony, which is a BIG plus for me.

Depends on when you are going and why. We own at both. When we are going for the Food & Wine Fest and want to be close to the action we take BWV. When we are going for a nice relaxing vacation and want to spread out and feel at home we always take OKW.

BWV has a fantastic location, full resort amenities, lots of stuff to do right outside your door and is walking distance to many restaurants, 50% of the major theme parks, Illuminations & Fantasmic and many of shops.

OKW has larger rooms and a larger balcony.

Just want to clarify the kitchen situation so that you do not get mislead by incorrect information. ALL the DVC 1 br and larger have full kitchens. The only difference is the refrigerator at OKW is slightly larger and it has an ice maker. The refrigerators at all the other DVC resorts is a nice size and can easily store a few weeks of groceries. You do not need an ice maker because there are ice machines located in several locations on every floor. An ice maker is needed at OKW because the ice machines are only at the bus stops and at the pools. This could be quite a walk to get to depending on the location of your villa, therefore there are ice makers in the refrigerators. Other than that, ALL the DVC 1 br and larger have full, complete kitchens.

All the DVC resorts are very nice. We prefer the DVC resorts that are park DVC resorts because we like to be spoiled while on vacation. We like to be in the midst of the action. We like to be close to restaurants, parks and nighttime entertainment. We do not cook while on vacation so a slightly bigger refrigerator is immaterial to us. We find the size of the park DVC resorts to more than adequate for us. We do wish the balconies were a little larger, though.
