Can someone please tell me where the door from the main living area to the second bedroom is located in the 2br villas at BWV? Do all 2br villas have the door located in the living room, rather than as you enter the villa (such as AKV, SSR etc)? If it is in the living room, it seems like it would take up some valuable floor space as one of our sons sleep on an air mattress and the other on the sofa/sleeper.

I think they are all lockoffs (no dedicated), but I am not 100% sure. We had a two BR and put our sons air mattress by the door. It was not the best place, but we just propped it against the closest during the day.

Yes, all BWV 2 br are lock offs. I would just prop it up on the wall in one of the bedrooms during the day. just pull it out when your ready for bed.

the door to the 2nd bedroom is located towards the balcony side of the unit on the other side of the TV.

It does take up space and lets noise in, if you are in a studio or one bedroom. I am so glad they changed this in the new DVC resorts. Very poor arrangement to me. The door in the foyer is a much better.

I'm sure as they built each resort they corrected the 'mistakes' in design :lmao:. I guess if the kids were little tykes it wouldn't be so bad, but with adult kids and the boys both around 6'3", they need more room for their 'more' stuff! Thanks for all the responses.

how big is the air mattress?

if queen not certain it would fit - otherwise over closer to the kitchen area and it should work - you definitely need to prop it up on the wall during the daytime

It's just a single size, but an elevated mattress, so double the height (about the seat height of a chair or around 18"). Would likely take up a lot of space even if stood up. Oh well, looks like staying at BWV will be when not everyone can go on vacation at the same time!

put my air mattress against the sliding door when not using it or needing to be outside - it worked.

also think there is enough room for it standing up - between the tv and the kitchen area?
