2Br at BCV in late August at 7 Month Window?

i am hoping to buy some SSR points via resale and then add on some AKL points via Disney. We like the idea of Split stays and combining that with using points for Sun - Thur stays we will be looking to stay at 3 different resorts when we go to WDW. (Coming from England the Airfare in British school holiday times is quite expensive so we prefer to visit for longer stays less often)

Obviously we would have the option of using the 11 month window for SSR and AKV but we really like the look of the BCV. if we did this resort last in late August when the US schools had gone back how difficult would you think it would be to get a Sun - Thurs Reservation in a 2Br (preferably with the 2 queens in the 2nd Bedroom?

I'd expect you'd be able to do this. What we normally do is to book our home resort at the 11 month window (or whenever we finally decide on the dates) and then try to get BCV at the 7 month window. That way we know for sure we have a place to stay and we can go ahead with the rest of our plans. We've had good luck with the wait list process.

I got a 2br at BCV for MLK weekend with one call at the 7 month mark(4nt stay). Had the back up at our home resort though.

We had a 2 BR at BCV last year at the 5 month mark. Janis

We were able to get a BCV 2BR for early June at the 7 month mark. I would think that early June and late Aug. would be similar in availability. We were not able to get the 2 queens in the 2nd BR however; we possibly could have waitlisted for that room type, but just took the other room. Our daughter slept on the sofa bed and thought it was quite comfortable. So, if at 7 mos. you can't get the 2 queen configuration - I wouldn't let that bother you.

Instead of purchasing resale of SSR, why not buy BC if you like that resort better. Then you would have an 11 month window with them also.
