Has anyone stayed in a 2 BR HA value room at AKV Jambo we are looking into it for our next trip and was wondering what the view was... we need a roll in shower..

When we toured the DVC looking at AKL with our DD who uses a wheelchair, we were told that the Jambo accessible rooms were not very accessible. The guide told us we should specify Kidani village if we chose to go to AKL.
The reason is that Kidani was new construction of DVC villas and Jambo was renovated to turn into DVC villas.

Post 5 in this thread indicates that the Jambo Value rooms can have savannah, pool or parking lot view and that the reason they are ‘value’ is that they are smaller than the standard villas.
Post 4 of this thread has pictures of a handicapped accessible Value 1 bedroom Jambo House villa, number 5010. The pictures only show the one bedroom part (they had a 2 bedroom) and do not show the bathroom.
It was a standard view and had a view of the pool - there are several pictures that show the view out the windows.

I did find another post that indicated about 1/2 of the value Jambo House Villas have savannah views and post 4 of this thread indicates that there is only one Value Handicapped accessible room, but that it has a tub with grab bars (which does not mesh with the report in the link to pictures of room 5010) - the person making the trip report indicated there was a roll under sink in the kitchen, which doesn’t ‘go’ with a tub with grab bars in the bathroom. The ‘tub’ report was not verified, but was from plans, so it is very likely that it was changed to a roll in shower later.

Just be aware that Jambo House and Kidani villas are different in terms of size and configuration.

Also, Jambo Value villas are about 30 square feet smaller than Jambo standard villas, from what I have read.
