2bed/2ba With Reliable Internet Service Close to WDW

I'm looking for a nice 2bed/2bath suite with fast, reliable high-speed internet service as close as possible to WDW. Every time I think I have found one, I read a review on tripadvisor about how awful the internet service was, and I must have a good internet connection for my job. Any suggestions?

Why not have a look at some of the condos or townhouses. Many owners have broadband/WI-FI service to their homes - just ask them who their provider is and what speed is the service. We always need a place with access, preferably WI-FI, for work and the kids have their devices that they can use through a WI-FI network.

Have you seen any reviews for Bonnet Creek? Access is wired (so no radio issues), but the property is also quite large, and their pipe may not be big enough for the size of the resort. I haven't tried it personally yet, but will this July.

The DVC resorts have what I'd call "adequate" access. It's also wired---not super-speedy, but not bad. $10/day.

No internet service can be 100% reliable as even the suppliers can't guarantee that. My Road Runner at home & at the office is good but occasionally its dead and I have to resort to my Verizon 3G tether to my Palm Treo for high speed access.

That said Cypress Pointe Resort (aka Phase 1) just last year upgraded their WiFi service and doubled the back end to increase data throughput. I have been on site there for up to 2 weeks straight and found the service to be reliable and reasonably fast - it costs $4.95 day OR $19.95 / week. It is not the same service that Cypress Pointe Grande Villas uses (they have a elcetric cable fed wired service that requires a converter box and ethernet to your PC).

Again nothing is ever perfect but I'd recommend CPR as one that should meet your requirements.

Thanks for the suggestions. I'd love to stay at Bonnet Creek - I love the location, but it got a bad "internet review" on tripadvisor and I'm a little afraid to stay there. I'll definitely check into CPR. We may end up at a Residence Inn or Homewood Suites; they are generally very reliable as far as internet service I think. I'm hoping for something a little more upscale and resort-like though.

Have you tried Caribe Royale? We loved it there and had no trouble with our internet service.

Marriott Horizons (now has a new name-can't remember it) has nice 2bd/2ba rooms with free Wi-Fi. I though the service was good but was only using it for leisure not business.

We loved the Holiday Inn Orange Lake Resort. The resort is huge - several pools, two golf courses, restaurants onsite. All the rooms have been refurbished - tile bathrooms, granite counters, gorgeous furnishings. The WI-FI was awesome. No problems whatsover on either mine or DH's computer. We both work remote, so it was nice.

We stayed at the Sheraton Vistana resort last August in a 2 bedroom 2 bath villa. It was wonderful! Everybody loved it and the internet was fantastic. No complaitns. We only paid $99.00 per night, too. Great deal!

The cost I have heard quoted for Internet @ Holiday Inn Orange Lake was very high (Around $50/week). Plus it had been only in common areas not every unit. Has that changed?

Yes. You do pay a daily resort fee (not sure what it was - <10) that includes shuttle service and Internet is included in the room.
